I loved this game so much on the arcade and SNES and was glad the Genny got the deathmatch mode in it

The thing you're thinking of that was missing from the Genesis that the SNES had is the Team Battle Royal mode.

Unfortunately, I agree with you. I say "unfortunately" because I like my wrestling games a little more "wrestley", but the truth is this game accomplishes everything it sets out to do, and at a higher level than any of the alternatives. I prefer Royal Rumble, but this game is "better" in an objective-ish sense.

One of capcoms lost treasure’s.I always hoped when there were the initial rumors of “AEW” making a video game.that combined with “Kenny omegas” ties to capcom. it would be a spiritual successor to “SNSM”…unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be.
