Midtown Miami is stunning at night I love the lights on the trees. It's a life style if you want warmer weather , and a cleaner city why not . Beside more sun is good for the soul .

Miami looks like a movie set, probably one that will be struck next week. And the people are apparently extras. Your note that the shopping district is intended to imitate Soho may have strengthened this impression.

It really does look like a movie set at times!

N.Y. has many more people walking around and many more stores open. Miami is much cleaner on the streets. 🙂 enjoy Both!!

Depending on where you go. There are streets in Brickell, South Beach, Lincoln Rd, Miracle Mile, Coconut Grove where there are more people outside activity at night

NY has 400% of Miami's population in 1/6 of the space.

I mean, it is two totally separate cities so to compare the two is like apples and oranges, but Miami also has South Beach, which gets pretty lit, or in simple terms exciting.
