Love the headphone story. That's such a great "friend" thing to do....seriously. You'll remember that one forever. The memories made must be one of the most rewarding parts of being an athlete of your caliber. I can only imagine. There are very few people in this world that would ever be able to say, "Yeah, I f'd with Ryan Crouser today"...great times man! Keep up the great work! Always enjoy watching as a former half decent shotputter! Continued success!

Not this video, but on other throwing channels there so much talk about HS freshman throwing 190' Discus and 6'9" 8th graders close grip benching 365 lbs it can be discouraging. I agree that those conversations should take place, because that's the reward for doing great, people talk. But this channel is also amazing, because the world record holder and two-time Olympic champion will give you advice for a HS ham and egger that isn't getting a scholarship and is just trying to score a few points in a local school meet. That's cool. In fact, that's who most people are. Michael Jordan wasn't selling Gatorade and sneakers exclusively to world champions. He was selling to anyone who wanted to wear the shoes and drink the drink.

G.O.A.T. As a life long track runner and fan .... I am in AWE of this man. My family was a track family and went to all the meets , watched Randy Matson dominate for years then Al Feurbach pushed him and then Brian Oldfield started the new approach to tossing the shot put by spinning ... which Barnes took to a new level and now Ryan Crouser has just blown up. If you haven't been involved in Track and Field for a half century like I have you likely won't appreciate this but he's like Bob Beamon , setting that record in the long jump, and then topping it , and then topping it.... His record unlike most wasn't a fluke , he's proved that and come through in Olympics .. twice. I admire this young man so much!

The expertx is amazing. I shouldn't brag, or prices will go up and I won't be able to afford it anymore. But we gave it a shot and were stunned at the results. We sent a 4 second video of my son Enzo throwing the shot. Ryan got back with the most expert and specific 9 minute video. It was really insane. I have to go back to that website and see if there's a way to tip. We shouldn't be able to get such expert advice for $50. I once had a repairman come to the house and look at the air conditioner and washing machine. He didn't fix either, basically just confirmed both were broken. Was in and out in 30 minutes. It cost me $150. So, $150 for someone to confirm my appliances are broken, versus $50 for expert shot put analysis for my son. Definitely the $50 was the better deal.

Two questions if I can bench a lot why can’t I throw far. And number 2 if I weigh a lot and I’m 5,8 5,9 at the age of 13 is that a good shot put physique.

In practice, have you thrown beyond world record, how far? In practice attempting a sloppy foul throw, what is the farthest, did fouling help at all. Just curious, I know it doesn't count
