I know shotput is your main career, but how far do you think you could throw disc? I know your high school discus throw was insane

His gotta stick with shot through the Oregon Worlds. After that Discus would be awesome. I'd suggest the same game plan for Karsten Warholm. Make this the last season of hurdles, then go for the 400m/800m double. Though I suppose if there's a chance for 5 Shot Put golds, that's not a bad plan either.

@@balpreetsingh2772 nice but when you are 15 you should be throwing a 1.6 kg discus and 12 lb shotput. The shotput is an easier transition but the disc can be a bit more tricky

If you do a freeze frame where 13:03 turns to 13:04 he looks exactly like my little brother A.J. My little brother was an Eastern States champion in the Discus, but he was never very good at Shot Put. There were a couple near 60-foot throwers on his high school team and I think he just figured it wasn't worth even training the Shot. So, he won tons in Discus and then went to a college without a track team. This was decades ago. College scholarships were mostly going to cross country runners in those days. A lot of good throwers never picked up an implement again after high school.
