aw you poor thing, that must have been so scary. It’s something you never forget! Eliza was back to back to and it is agony! Thanks for sharing I love hearing birth stories xx

I think it was scarier for everyone around me lol because I didn't really know what was going on! Oh I wouldn't wish the back to back pain on anyone. At least you'll be able to sympathise with mums in labour when they go through that lol x

Such a traumatic experience but glad you ended up okay! My brother was born on the February of 2004 so he is only a few months older than Abby and my parents were married in the same month as you and Jack!

@OurCRAZYLifeScotland2 жыл бұрын
Oh now that must have been terrifying! Has she been OK since or has she had lasting problems due to being so early? You're so right, I do my share of moaning about the kids but I wouldn't change them for anything and I'd go through it all again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much ☺️ x

@OurCRAZYLifeScotland2 жыл бұрын
Yes we were surprised too haha 😄. I was worried during my pregnancy with Brooke but had a plan in place with the midwife from the start so it went quite smoothly even though I had to be induced again x

Hi Fiona. You had a hard labor. With Abby. I had Force ups on my eldest daughter. She was 9lb 7osz. Very big baby. I thought I was delivering a Elephant LoL 😂. But NO. She was a beautiful baby girl. Eating a lot of Chinese food while pregnant. She look like a Chinese little girl. So pretty and beautiful. And on my other daughter. She was smaller at birth 6lb 11Oz. But still frightened to Pouch her out very painful. Because I was thinking that I would have landed up having fouce ups again. But didn't on her. She was a smaller baby. And very pretty too. The both have their own children today. And doing great with the kids. Lovely way to end Abby's birthday memories. Lovely 18 th Birthday.Abby ! Love to you all Maria 💗 xx

Wow Maria she was a very big baby! No wonder you needed help! I'm glad your second was smaller and easier to deliver. It's crazy what we put ourselves through for our children but they are worth it x

Me too Linda lol. I was very worried when I fell pregnant with brooke so had a plan in place with my midwife from the very start. Thankfully it all went very smoothly even though I had to be induced again x

That was some time you had. Glad all worked out well in the end. I got that pethadone when I was in labour. In our time we didn’t have birthing partners. Stacy is 50years on the 6th sept so it is a long time ago. I just remember it being a long night and lying in bed watching the trees blowing in the wind and it was dark outside until it was time to get taken through to the delivery room. X Doris x

Yes it was a pretty rough night! I didn't realise you weren't allowed birthing partners back then. It must have been scary on your own x

Hi Fiona I loved all of Abby's birthday vlogs, she had a great birthday and Adam is so nice and funny. the birth story was a bit scary, I'm glad everyone was ok in the end , why did you decide on the name Abby and why did you name Brooke? they are both nice names. and you could do a storytime of Brooke's birth too if you want. my mum said when she was having me the midwife said to her 'lots of ginger hair!' I had lots of hair when i was born, I like having ginger hair to be honest. but my brother has blonde hair (well its sort of brown now he's older) and my mum and dad both have like brown hair so its just me lol! Have a good weekend see you soon xx

Hi Sophie. I'm glad you enjoyed the birthday videos. I'm not sure how we decided on abby but I remember saying I wanted to spell it like that so people didn't think it was short for abigail. Abby hates it because most people spell it wrong haha. For brooke we wanted a water related name and thought Brooke was really nice. I didn't realise you were ginger! I love that hair colour and was sad when abby dyed hers. I hope you're well! Take care x

@@OurCRAZYLifeScotland that's nice I always liked the name Brooke, Yes I am ginger!! I will try and send you a photo of my hair, there might be one of me on my Instagram page but i don't like photos of myself so i don't put on many on. I wouldn't dye my hair i'm too scared. I am doing well i'm not too bad xx

I'm glad you both survived the birth I do remember you being pregnant with the crutches at a couple of your mum's linedance nights and your mum did tell the class the story at the time of what happened during the birth I was ginger too when I was born as my gran was a SIM and they were all red headed but by the time I was about 5 it had turned blonde
