Sam is quite the pack Yorkie. What a collection of chewy treasures. My Yorkie, Joey, when he was a puppy collected everything, toys, sticks, rocks, socks and put them in his open crate. I would have to go in and clean out all of his treasures just so there would be room enough for him to sleep. Gotta love Sam the Man! Joey still collects things but he particularly likes squeaky balls. He has 5 of them. LOL. Sam is such a handsome little man.

Sam really loves his toys, our last Yorkie “TerribleTed” could have cared less. He just liked bones.

We took in my brothers dog when he moved. I tried to introduce her to the garage and related noises, nope. She's not having it. She will hang out in the next room (office) and watch through the glass doors. Sam seems to be a good dog.

@@wyattoneable yea, he’s really very good. Not much of a walker though. Mary says it’s because he’s still a puppy. Time will tell….

My dog Huckleberry delights in grabbing and taking off with anything I drop or that he knows is mine. Forget catching him, he’s gone at Mach 1 with any new prize. Seems that Sam has the same appreciation for things that humans have that rightfully belong to dogs. Good boy, Sam.

I so wish I owned a wood splitter, don’t have the money for one!

@@MickyBellRoberts It’s a good tool to save your money for. And sometimes you find them used. I just saw one on FB marketplace for $100.00. People buy them for one job, and basically dump them. (That was my original plan 20+ years ago.)

The birch bark is where xylitol is derived, and it should be good for his teeth. My dogs have been licking bare dirt, making small but deep holes in the yard. I don't know what they're after.

Sam unearths a lot of squirrel stowed pine nuts. For some reason, he likes them, and acorn nuts. So we have a lot of jokes due to that, and he also digs up grubs and eats them for some reason…..

@@JimsEquipmentShed Maybe it is grubs they're after, but squirrels stay high up from my dogs and don't linger on the ground much to bury things. 😉

@@Todd-o8n Sams in an enclosure, and the squirrels know it. Unfortunately for them, he also records where they bury everything, and as soon as we cut him loose, he’s foraging……
