Perhaps *THE* quintessential old school voice actor. He just about did everything under the sun in his time: Disney (movies, cartoons and parks), Hanna Barbera, Rankin/Bass, commercials, even the live action War of the Worlds movie and K.A.R.R from Knight Rider.

What a DAMNED fine talent!!! Like Ken Nordine, amazingly polished and authoritative. I've enjoyed his work for MANY years, but apparently had forgotten the MANY varieties and dialects (and characters) he'd done, such as ones in the Jay Ward--and Disney--cartoons....and a bunch of OTHER Disney features...such as the film "Donald in Mathemagic Land," and the one about a flight to the moon.

As this was only posted 4 days ago, with over 150 comments already, well, that says something about the work that was put into this, and that Paul's work is so beloved. If any of you reading this haven't read Ben Ohmart's Paul Frees biography "Welcome Foolish Mortals" both the 2004, and the revised 2014 edition, well then you should. :) Both are a great read, and hard to put down. I am a long time member of the Paul Frees Facebook group (as administered by my pal Jessica) and I can't upload this to the group fast enough. Both Paul's son and daughter are friends, and I gotta shoot this fantastic work to them as well. I call being into his work as much as this "Deep Frees". Awesome work here, Saturday Morning Rewind.

I love these videos. I’ve got a blog on animation that I’ll be sharing this, Daws, Don, Mel, and June. People should see these. Great mention of Calvin and The Colonel too! Also could you do one of the New York classic voice actors like Jack Mercer or Mae Questel? Also how about Janet Waldo or Joe Alaskey. I’m working on a book about June Foray and I must say that video should be updated.
