I love the chemistry between Colin and Sarah. SNL writers have been fairly good about not overdoing the skits between them so that has kept it fresh. There are several new cast members getting more exposure now but Sarah is probably my favorite.

The fact Colin is left-handed is a blessing in disguise, as the passing of the pencil at 0:23 is a great little visual gag. Like, if she just starting holding it like she was writing, you might get the joke, but the fact she had to noticeably change hands made it that bit more obvious.

Easily the best SNL sketch I've ever seen & I've been watching this show since it began. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. Those 2 are perfect together. Colin's genuine embarrassment in lots of other sketches is hilarious and he takes it so well. I hope they do more along this father, son story. Rich ground indeed. The frequent embarrassment must affect his DNA in a good way. Love to see a study of that.

Yeah similar to the bit where Colin and Michael write jokes for each other, they truly don't see those before hand. And remember Colin is one of the head writers so I could imagine Some of Sara's bit's being not known until they're live. This bit was definitely run through at least once though just off the few times Colin isn't lined up with a teleprompter but even turned away, he hit the correct words and timing with Sara.
