There’s no harm in coping this way, there’s always going to be someone hurt or offended by something you say or do. Him being open and making light of a serious subject has helped a lot of people not feel so alone or ostracised over a condition.

Pete has what every born artist strives for: radical acceptance of self. You can tell by how beloved he is by the people who really know him: his Staten Island crew, his comedy family, his collaborators, his mom. It’s always great to see him and this is a very good ad for his show.

I KNOW PEOPLE WILL JUDGE THIS AND GET DEEP. But this is what comedy is all about. Serious stuff, making light of it, seeing the humor and laughing at oneself... Its actually very funny. Way better than people that stay dark and sad all the time and have no outlet. Comedy should lighten your load and make even horrible things to some have a positive outlook.
