A diner menu's way too long, And half the things are fake or wrong. WAITRESS: Must he die? How can you ever face his lobster friends? How can you ever face yourself again? Monster! LOBSTER NUMBER ONE: I've lived here forty years I know, An age that lobsters never grow, And in that time there's been no one To order any crustaceans... Who am I? ALL: Lobster Number One! Song #2- Big Tank In The Sky CLAWSETTE (SPOKEN): Papa? LOBSTER NUMBER ONE (SPOKEN): Clawsette! Oh, what are you doing here? CLAWSETTE (SPOKEN): There's something I've wanted to tell you papa.. (SINGING) Father, I've heard they want you dead. Let me go in your place instead. Whether its boiled, Seared, or fried, Up to the great tank in the sky... LOBSTER NUMBER ONE (SPOKEN): NO, Clawsette, I can't let you do that! It's not your time, it's mine! CLAWSETTE (SPOKEN): I love you, papa! LOBSTER NUMBER ONE (SPOKEN): Oh, I love you, too. Now Run! Run from this place! *CLAWSETTE RUNS OFF STAGE, SOBBING* Song #3- Do You Hear The Lobster Scream? WAITER & WAITRESS (SPOKEN): Form the barricade! SMART CUSTOMER (SPOKEN): Wait, there's a barricade? CUSTOMER WHO FOOLISHLY ORDERED LOBSTER (SPOKEN): Wow, this diner has incredible set design! (SINGING) WAITER: Will you join in our crusade to keep the lobster from this pot? WAITRESS: Will you drop the masquerade and give our BLT a shot? LOBSTER NUMBER ONE: Then join in the fight that would give us the right to be FREE! ALL: Do you hear the lobster scream? Screaming the scream of scalding flames? It is the screaming of a lobster And this dummy's here to blame. When the churning in your bowels Matches the burning of his shell, You'll know why lobsters in a diner never sell! Lobsters! You don't order them! IN DINERS!

Yep - creative people usually have one thing they're especially good at (comedy for them) but are usually at least pretty good at all areas of entertainment, I've noticed. I mean, are there some actors who can't sing? Or singers who can't act? Of course lol but I think, generally speaking, they all have at least a little bit of talent in all areas. What you said is definitely true though - a LOT of SNL cast members through the years have had Broadway-quality voices.
