Just like how that sport went, Soccer will become a pointless boring low scoring game that doesn't even offer up other forms of entertainment. This skit was actually how I found out Sudeikis was from my school district. I went to another school Shawnee Mission Northwest. (There is North, South, East, West, and Northwest in the district) I have lived in Hawaii since '91, and my wife and I were watching SNL probably 15 years ago after our 2 young ones were asleep. When he said "Shawnee Mission West!" I shot up "What the fuck?" and I found out his name and googled him and sure enough. Paul Rudd went to the same school as him(West) and graduated 2 years before me. My daughter graduated from West and my son will graduate this year. My son does debate and in the debate/forensics/theater rooms there, they practically have shrines to those guys.
