when i was 16/17 (now 19), my family had no internet and we could only watch 3-5 channels on the tv. One of the channels aired game shows from the 50s-80s and when I tell you this sketch is TOO accurate!!! They did an amazing job replicating the 70s game shows that aired and it’s aesthetic! it’s almost frightening and it hurts to watch tbh lmao! SNL definitely did their research for this 😂😭😂

I got to take dinner to him in his dressing room backstage and stay while he riffed, warming up for his show, then watch it from backstage.
