Then you can stay in that relationship for a couple years until the "passion" dies down, split up again! Look at that, you have 3 children from broken homes but Mom is still looking for "the right one"!

@@WalkingwithWendy good one Wendy. Yeah fuck anybody who goes into school for the study of social development and structure, only to find out that their institution has charged them 110% more than their parents’ education cost. That coupled with two recent recessions, a low unemployment rate with no one being able to afford to retire, and therefore bring in new workers (hence why companies like GM have to force people to let them buy out their contract ALL the time). Then you force the graduates to work a barely above minimum wage job, while they try oh so hard to get ANY job in the field they went to school for, pay their car insurance, school loan, food, rent, phone, internet, forget about having any emergency money if your car breaks down. So then for them to live “affordably” (considering I live in one of the cheapest areas to live in in the US, and the cheapest place you can find that’s isn’t mold ridden or falling apart is 900/month if you’re lucky), what kind of life do you expect them to live? Use almost every cent they have only on rent? What about those who have no support from their family? Fuck those sociology students, right? Part of why I never went to college is because of shit heads like you. “All those college kids need to pull themselves up by the bootstraps, tell ya dat! Worthless degrees, everybody just pick the same damn type of work.” Have fun shitting on college kids online while your husband supports your entire life. My older brother really experienced this, and so did I sometimes. Our parents werent as calm as the ones in this skit though. I unfortunately was in the earlier stages of undiagnosed Schizoaffective Disorder . So when I did experience these feelings, I would go into a somewhat suicidal state but not fully. My parents never really saw that side of me because I would pretend to be okay as much as I could when they were around, but mainly i would retreat to my room to contain myself. I will never live with my parents again. I would choose to become homeless (and actually did for 2 years) rather than go through all the fighting again. If you or someone you know is going through this, I encourage to get on the proper meds for the anxiety/depression that happens to a lot of people while living with your parents.

It's not easy out there. You get a little behind on rent and it's hard to catch up and get ahead, and apartments are so expensive... I feel for him.

I'm 53 and live with my pa - who is 85 - and couldn't be happier. I have a well paid job, university degree and have had several relationships with perfectly nice women. Why is this viewed as anathema by (most of) society?

Snl actors used to memorized their lines. Nowadays they just look at the cards which makes the sketch so artificial
@007nadineL4 жыл бұрын
That's because they keep changing the script up until the last second. U can't memorize under those conditions
@mehboobkm37283 жыл бұрын
I don't think those parents in this sketch were memorizing their lines, they were reading it out of news paper!!

I don’t understand why Americans are so against young adults still living with their parents. You stay with them and help them out once in a while and you live rent free to do whatever you want. Sounds like freedom to me.
