@@Potatinized her parents were terrible. Her father was abusive and her mother was a stage mom who shamelessly used her daughter for fame and money. Rather than encourage her daughter to curb her partying, she would go out and party and drink and likely do drugs with Lindsay. Then there was that time her mother tried to convince people that she was a Rockette, which she never was and she was called out on it. Lindsay isn't fixing herself up. She's a master manipulator who is likely too damaged to ever be a decent person at this point. Her terrible childhood of being used and abused could justify her bad behavior up to a point, but it's way beyond the point where she needs to take responsibility for her own actions. Not every child actor who has had similar experiences turned out terrible, such as Drew Barrymore for example.
