I will be viewing this at age 65. In 2080 my granddaughter will be viewing this and her age will be 61. I will leave her information on this future happening for her in a “time capsule” im preparing for her. Sooo cool that this event is recurring. Ive always been facinated with space and physics. As shes now only 1 year old who knows if she will have any interest in this event in her future. Hope so.

Seems like I'm taking different AVIs and different brightness and then addressing that post-processing? thanks again

@@Eyesonthesky I Think The Best Time To View Conjunction Is Right After Sunset.. Jupiter Is a Bright Planet so It will be Visible and Saturn would Be Given Away in a Telescope along with their Moons. So The Planets will Be a Few Degrees Above Horizon. They Should be Visible👍🏻🔭

Ugh! Idk what telescope to choose for the conjuction!? My choices are the: 5" Mak-Cass, 6" Classical Cass and of course the good ol' 8" SCT... The choices are tough because the Mak is a planet killer but suffers from mirror flop, the Classical Cassegrain has no front corrector plate which no worry about fogging up plus its internally baffled but when time comes, ill prolly end up going with the good and reliable C8! The Schmidt Cassegrain is the all rounder plus at an 8 inch aperature im sure ill get a nice view and picture.. at least i hope! Now.. about the collimation... thats another story altogether.. lmao Clear skies to everyone! This is a rare event indeed, as was everything else that happened this year! 🔭🌙😁👍🏼

@freedombuilder73 жыл бұрын
Because whatever happens "in the stars" has a major significance to the universe, what do you believe is the significance of Jupiter clashing with Saturn on 21 December? There are so many "happenings" in the world at the moment, like, the major election fraud with audits and lawsuits, the global reset and other challenges, it would be interesting to hear your take on this phenomena in the sky. What would the story in the sky represent?
@somborn3 жыл бұрын
Maybe you should take a break from social media and get some sleep. Never the less have fun stargazing.
@Eyesonthesky3 жыл бұрын
The significance is that it will amazing for us to witness the two largest gas giants in our solar system in one telescopic eyepiece field of view. That's it. Nothing else. There is not other significance. It's just a function of gravity, motion and time - nothing more.
@freedombuilder73 жыл бұрын
@@somborn maybe you should allow your mind to be more curious as to why God allows this to happen. There are no coincidences. Just like God placed the bright Bethlehem Star in the heavens, to lead the 3 Wise men to the place where baby Jesus Christ was born.

Well, they will not be any closer than 400,000,000 miles to each other, and Jupiter gets that close to Saturn every 12 years (just not close visually from our perspective like this time). So Jesus need not do anything different than the last 375 million times this has happened previously.
