I have this placement and I was shamed a lot by a parent for not understanding schoolwork right away. I would ask them for help and they would yell at me for not understanding or getting something wrong. I always feared saying the wrong thing. I got into personal therapy and family therapy and now things are way better. I’m thankful for my parent’s actually reflecting and changing their ways. I have to say this vid was spot on

It is sooo accurate it's scary....narcissistic father, not allowed to shine, started working in grade 5 hard labour jobs during the summers but didn't get to keep the money earned. Very hard time with being seen and worry about becoming like my father, egotistical. God knows it’s terribly excruciating to feel the pain when I self express. It’s hard to be in front of Cameras. It’s hard to write from my truth. I just cry and feel lots of pain. Growing up on a farm (and being the last kid, only son) as soon as I could push pedals down on a tractor I was out doing field work at 8 years old. With money being tight and a farm making one deal with reality (no choice) I was given responsibilities from an early age. Being out in the boonies we had no gymnastics which I showed a talent for-common in Germany where my mom is from. (Yea, try having a mom that was born during WW2 and vividly remembers the lean postwar years.) Both of my parents are the 'tough love' type with little patience for what they consider nonsense or being soft.

Parents are very religious and I have a guilty conscience because of that. I love them very much anyway. And yes my life seems like a movie as I have pattern recognition and coincidental or synchronized events happen quite regularly. It can be overwhelming for me at times as I am quite apprehensive at times to do something with the energy of the situation. However I know this and I am at least self conscious of this fact as I need to embrace my loving side which I have a hard time expressing. I can have fun but I have a difficult time showing love towards my fellow man without my cynical nature interfering. Letting go of those insecurities and not being so hard on myself and judgmental is what I need to curb. Thanks for your insight..✌️ E11:11
