Saturn in Scorpio | astroVLOG

I have 6 planets in Scorpio. Sun, Mercury, Venus, North node Rahu, Pluto, and Jupiter all in Scorpio. I don't even have my Saturn in Scorpio, but I'm feeling this Saturn transit so much. About three years ago, I got a blow to my huge ego when my younger sister got the job we both applied for during the summer. I'm only 20 years old now, so at the time I was barely 17. It was devastating at the time, and that started the whole depression for me. I took college classes and skipped the last two years of high school, which I regretted terribly. For those two years that I went to college, I was lonely and everything was just miserable and terrible. Depression knocked me off track and I ended up graduating with a 2.0 high school gpa. I'd never gotten lower than 3.5 in my entire life. I failed all my classes, didn't do any of my homework, and basically just ruined myself in these years. In the mean time, I was working at a fast food place 40-50 hours a week. I worked insanely and worked like crazy, but it always felt like none of it was for anything good. I was so tired and exhausted, but got nothing out of it. I quit my job a year later, and after another year, on the day that Saturn went retrograde back into Scorpio, I went back to my old job at the fast food place. Lord have mercy lol. Talking about having Saturn transit my pluto scares me honestly. I have pluto in the 4th, and currently Saturn is transitting my 2nd house. It's coming soon... isn't it. It's so hard to think of positive things during these crazy Saturn transits, but at least I've learned to accept the bad things in my life. Me and my parents have never been so close before in my life until now. I have a Leo Ascending, Scorpio Sun, and Taurus Moon. All fixed signs. During this transit, my ego and self esteem, my pride was knocked down so low, I felt naked and bare, vulnerable. It was pretty terrible- but I really hope that all these lessons learned will be for the better once September rolls around.

Carolyn, this was such a touching video. I find you so brave to have made this and I thank you for sharing such a personal and emotional experience with all of us. I may not have Scorpio in the same degrees but I do have Scorpio for my Sun, Rising, Pluto and Saturn. I've lost many people to cancer, my brother when I was younger and late last year I lost my father and a close friend. A couple of work colleagues are also still fighting that battle now - I work at a bank too. You are so right about it being a push to grow up... Usually I make decisions and I move but every time someone is diagnosed, I flat line. My lack of control over it made me so confused and I didn't know how to think or what to do besides revisit my personally formed concept of life and death and research obsessively in desperation. The mixed emotions and confusion is something I haven't completely been able to express verbally but watching this helped me understand. So again, thank you for making this video.

I too and the Scorpio rising and I have lost Leo's this Saturn return for me. This has forced me to step up in my work life. I just got promoted as well... I am really feeling the step it up and get it done energy. You are dead on as always. Thank you

Your description about responsibility and stepping up to the plate is right on. I'm feeling it big time. I have Moon, Saturn, Pluto, South Node in Scorpio. It's such fascinating energy. I think Saturn means stability and structure but Scorpio is like the opposite of it. Tough placement = not comfy, that's for sure. THANKS!

Very true...I have Saturn in the 8th house in my birth chart. I always had fear of loosing someone kind of like loosing someone you love....from my childhood....I lost my relation with my girlfriend which I always feared to happen....this happened couple of days back when Saturn and Mars both were again back transiting in 8th house....and it has really shook me....it was a blow to me...it taught me a lesson of letting of go things

I feel you. Scorpio can be really rude. My father has Saturn in Scorpio in his 4th house opposing his Venus in Taurus. With the first return 1983 his first child, my sister, died at the age of 3. In 2014 with his second return his mother, my granny, died. ... and he suffers all his life, but won't talk to anyone about it, and he just can't let things go. He's collecting lots of unnecessary stuff, and it's like he's building a wall around himself with this stuff. He is so extremely complicated, and I feel like he just doesn't learn! :(

+pbTHeSiLence wow, your father has gone through a lot... losing his first born 3 year old daughter, holy shit... especially if he is not into astrology, and hasn't seen his chart - it's probably very hard for him to cope and understand the events in his life. He probably is acting unconsciously... maybe you could help him understand his life's purpose, and the lessons he's earned through the pain and trauma that's occurred in his life. For a long time I didn't even know about her, but I felt like something is missing. One day when I was maybe 13 I stood next to calendar with all the birthdays and I asked my father: who's that one? .. then he told me. it's so hard for saturn in Scorpio to deal with death. My mum experienced the same, but she took help and cried a lot.. her saturn is not in scorpio. my father's like a piece of stone, hurt inside. He's not the funny, talkative Gemini shallow astrology is talking about. I'm sure one thing for me to do is to help him. my sun and pluto are in 8th house.. my sun trine his Gemini mercury. his sun trine my libra mercury. Most important: my Pluto conjunct his saturn. we are deeply connected. my mum always told me that after my birth he started to change a lot.. and open up again.. she thinks that his behaviour now with collecting stuff is ok compared to then. once she told me she thinks without me he'd probably wouldn't be here anymore.. :( Scorpio stuff took over me... I'm a social worker now, helping families in need. and it looks I'm about to fall in love with a Scorpio guy with saturn and pluto there.. born in 1983. Scorpio is a big magnetic thing. it hurts so much to let go. but it teaches us something magical that is far beyond anything we can imagine... deep love and understanding for all humans. When Saturn transited my Pluto at 10° in Scorpio in early 2013, That was the year I cut my hair short after 10 years of letting it grow, spread my dad's ashes, joined a martial arts dojo, and decided to enlist in the navy (also sextile Neptune in Capricorn). As 2014 rolled around and Saturn transited my ascendant at 17º, I began to get the hunch that the military wouldn't work out. I stuck it out anyway and processed until the (very shady) truth finally came out when Saturn entered Sagittarius early this year and I was oficially disqualified, thus beginning my Saturn Return (26º in the 2nd). It should hit my 2nd house cusp around next year right after I finish up this licensed massaged therapist certificate program. In 2017 it will hit my natal Saturn (conjunct uranus at 27º). Something out of the blue will come about I figure. Everything goes down at the start of Taurus season. Woo!

Thanks for the video. About 1-2 months ago I ended a 5 month relationship, my first serious, but very unhealthy one. I was in hell. There was an element of control and obsession. When Saturn hit my Venus (Sco. 27°) and Pluto (29°) that's when the truth hit me, that we need to be apart or both our suffering will never end. The other person was obsessive and extremely needy of me. It consumed my and my parent's life, mentally crippled me. Now that it's finally over, I can feel the Saturn energy coming back, and almost feels like the same shit's about to come back. I learnt a lot about love and rel.ships, so I have to be strong enough so it won't repeat. P.s: my AC in Sagg 3° was also influenced the entire time. Thanks for listening.

Saturn conjunct Ascendent (in scorpio) I can relate it can be tough... I have Scorpio Asc about 2 degrees scorpio & it conjunct my natal Pluto as well (7 degrees Scorpio). I don't even remember the person I was before Saturn in Scorpio. I feel like the best thing to happen when Saturn transits your first house is you become a better person & learn what is truly important. I learned to let go of the petty shit but it was a tough lesson to learn. Amazing video Carolyn !!!!

I have this placement in the 12 as well as pluto, venus in scorpio in the 12th..i got hired 1 Aug 2013 in a leadership position...I fell critically ill... Almost died in 2014 but survived through it all. It almost cost me my job... So I had to fight for my health and my job... It was tough during that time. Sorry for your loss.

I have a stellium in Scorpio in the 6th house which is all intercepted, my sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Pluto and North node were affected by Saturn in Scorpio. 2012 to the end of 2013 was such a tough year and a half I'll never forget it as long as I live! Hate Saturn in Scorpio 👎🏻

Great Video Carolyn! Saturn transited my 5th where my Pluto is and November 2013 for me was when it was exact conjunct - My Grandma passed away& I quit my job that I had been wanting to for ages by the end of the transit through my 5th I also broke up with my partner... Seems like a lot happened autumn 2012-2014 what with the Pluto Uranus Square along side Saturn in Scorpio. Alas lessons learnt x x x

My ascendant is at 25'20. But Im still trying to figure what my sun sign is my birthday is July 23rd @ 3:39PM and my Neptune and Uranus are opposing my sun. I thought cancer was opposite Capricorn so am I a cancer sun or Leo?

You are a Leo sun. I know why you're confused tho--- the reason is you can still have an opposition without being in opposite signs based on the "orbs" used. Orbs are the number of degrees from an exact aspect. For example, I have my sun opposite Saturn but it's a pretty wide orb (8deg) my sun is 25 deg Cancer and my Saturn is 4deg Aquarius. It's an out of sign opposition. An exact opposition would put Saturn at 25 Capricorn. The closer to exact (aka the smaller the orb) the stronger the aspect. Anything with a 0-2 deg orb I would consider tight. Looser aspects are still felt but not as intensely. Hope this makes sense :)
