Saturn Mahadasha or Shani Mahadasha in Vedic Astrology

I have Libra Ascendant. Saturn is in the 3rd house in Sagittarius (Purva Ashadha Nakshatra) opposite to the Moon who is placed in the 9th house in Gemini (Punarvasu Nakshatra). According bhava chalit I have 4 grahas in the 5th house Rahu, Mercury, Venus and Sun. Saturn aspects all these grahas placed in the 5th house with its 3rd aspects, besides the Moon that Saturn aspects with its 7th aspect. Jupiter and Mars are both placed in the 8th house in Taurus. So, Jupiter and Mars are 6 places from Saturn. Saturn mahadasha started when I had only 15 years old...now, I have 33. I've been the past 18 years of life during Saturn mahadasha. My teenager time. My 20's...and my early 30's...I feel like Saturn steals my youth and I became old before my time with so many struggles, difficulties and loneless

I am undergoing saturn mahadasa. Nothing and no one can help you in this dasha except knowing astrology. That knowledge can act as an umbrella in a storm. What has helped me is inculcating genuine compassion for people who work under you. Labourers, maids, cooks, etc. You have to keep them at par with you and have respect for them as your equal or even better than you. That's when saturn shows mercy. Otherwise its 19 years of torture and one blow after the other. In the end, it's a huge karmic debt we pay. So it gives the freedom at the end, which is rightfully earned. One extra suggestion, do not expect others to understand your problems etc in these 19 years. Be more silent and dont compare yourself with others in this time frame. Most probably everyone will seem doing better than you. You will earn money, but not for your enjoyment, but for other people.

@@RS-rx3zh you will feel free and light. Apart from that the last antardasa is Jupiter's, if it's placed well in chart then definitely a solid positive thing can occur. But that too will come with baggage since saturn MD is not over yet. But something which you can enjoy in mercury MD.

I respectfully disagree I m Capricorn lagna and Jupiter in Capricorn and my Jupiter mahadasha started in 2006 and will finish this year 2022 and it’s been very tough for me health wise lost money lost job lost savings . @ Mannu Madan - If you listen to video I said Jupiter will give good results if it is not debilitated or a "Functional Malefic". For Capricorn Ascendant or Lagna Jupiter is a functional malefic as the 12th house is owned by Jupiter's moola trikona rashi Dhanu or sagittarius. It gives losses and health issues. Saturn is your Lagna Lord and if placed in decent house the Saturn Mahadasha should be good

@@varunavashisht Astrology is based on scientific approach, if we start studying astrology we can see the amount of details provided and logic behind each detail. I had no inclination to Astrology but I unwillingly took astrological consultations to manage few difficult situation and I was amazed at accuracy of predictions. So Astrology is a genuine science but it all depends on maturity of astrologer, the depth of knowledge he/she has acquired and mainly the intentions of that persons. There are many genuine astrologers and few who try to exploit as in any other profession. An my personal experience is Astrology being a divine science along with knowledge base of astrology the persons purity and spiritual practice is very important because many many predictions are based on divine intuitions

Sir, can i ask you one question I'm confused about?. According to Vedic chart and texts; I'm Scorpio( Anuradha lagna) and Taurus(Rohinii) Moon. My Saturn is in early Aquarius (Dhanista nakshatra, pada 3- exalted in d9). So both from lagna and Moon Saturn is in Kendra houses- 4th/10th and forms one of 5 yogas- Sasha yoga. But what confuses me; for my lagna(Scorpio), Saturn is an enemy/enemy for lagna lord(Mars). Also from Aquarius he aspects all his enemy signs; Aries, Leo, Scorpio. So is this really a good yoga for Scorpio lagna?.

Hello Shankar, your Saturn is not so bad though in Sun's nakshatra will make you work hard. It will also make you stay away from family due to various reasons. The problems you are facing is due to placement of Ketu in transit. Venus antar dasha should be better than Ketu antardasha. Mercury which is very important planet is in good sign but in Marana Karaka situation(very less strength), chant Vishnu Sahastra naamam daily and your Saturn(Ketu) and Mercury issues will be fixed

Hello Rohan. Saturn is Lord of your lagna and placed in 1st house. The problems you were facing were due to placement of Rahu/Ketu in your 4-10 axis. Your debilitated Ketu was in 10th house of career till April 2022, Saturn in 12th aspecting debilitated Lord of your career Mars is another issue. The transit of Saturn on 17th January 2023 will ease out lot of things. Please do remedies for 1. Rahu and Ketu as Rahu is in your 10th house in Lagna 2. Mars - Mars is debilitated but as it is in 6th house its better. Do remedies for Mars too 3. Other planet placements are good, things will be better from next year

Hello. You are currently running Jupiter>Rahu period which started from Aug-2020 and is till Jan -2023. This period is not considered very good. To add to it Saturn in transit is in your 8th house from January 2020 and surely is stressful as it is blocking your Money, growth in career is restricted and issues with family. But Saturn will move to Aquarius on 17th January 2023 and that will be a new start for you are you will be starting Saturn MD and Saturn will be in your Bhagya...the lord of future in the house of future. Saturn MD for Gemini Ascendant in general is not very bad as it is Lord of your Bhagya too. I see for you next 10 years will be good. Hello Linux675. Your chart is not a bad one. You have some very good planetary placements. Jupiter exalted in 2nd house - Lord of 7th and 10th house exalted in 2nd house (though retro) givens lot of wealth and happiness. Mercury is very well placed. Your 2nd phase of sade sati was tough, but now things will ease up. On thing - you have strong Pitru dosha, get Narayan Naga Bali pooja done at Trayambakeswar(Nasik - Maharashtra) Only at this place and not where else. It is a 3 days pooja, get this done and many of your problems will be solved.

@@sunilhemrajani, Narayana Naga Bali pooja has to be done at specific places. Trayambakeswar is one designated place as per Vedic recommendations. I have seen people do it at various places including Kala Hasti etc. but nothing changes. Since it is a matter of your life and your future, I strongly recommend going to Trayambakeswar(Nasik). It will be 3 days pooja, daily pooja will be for 3 hours only but you can be assured that the problem will be resolved.
