Yet another great video! - I really appreciate your work on your videos, the amount of details and precise description is on point incredible. My GT (Opel) sporadically overheats, by sporadically I mean, it goes well for months(!) and then suddenly the temp rises, next day and days/months, everything's fine again, in winter and in summer, I use my car as a daily and I drive it almost daily. The autoshop's, I visited, don't have a clue, everything seems to work properly. No engine-error code, the fan is running, the coolant pump is fine, enough liquid, no leak, the thermostat seems fine aswell. - I suspect there's air in the system, but I'm by far no expert, can it be just air bubbles? And how do I get rid of them without flushing the entire system.

Thank you so much! I try to put as much information as I can for everyone's benefit. As for your overheating issue. It could possibly be due to air in the system, as in a very small amount which sits under the thermostat and keeps it from opening for a time. But usually, if air is prominent, there are more consistent times of overheating. There is a way of possibly removing all the air without flushing, but it involves an air compressor. I believe there's another video on KZbin that showcases this, but I always prefer a static fill. I'll provide the link to the video below. I hope this helps you! Once again, thank you so very much! Unfortunately, since the recording is done with a phone, I have tried many different ways and styles of recording audio, but none of them seem to achieve what I believe to be a reasonable standard. So, at the moment, this is the best I have to offer.
