Like all the politicians Trump too would like no damage to the high tech industry in USA. There won't be H1B rejections, because if it happens American businesses would suffer. He will find a way assuage the fears of MAGA community. Probably, he could ask the american companies to reduce salaries of the H1B visa holders and collect more taxes from those companies , which would be able to pay from the savings on decrease in the salaries of H1B visa holders. Forein labour in US would be exploited more than the domestic labour.

The USA's economy, technology, and sciences totally depend on foreign workers, which has been going on for a long time. To abolish an H1B visa is so difficult. Prior to abolishing H1B, a vast study on issue is required. But Americans' interest must not be neglected. A big competition must be on the way once an H1B visa abolishes, and a hub of silicon valley will be established in their respective countries and likely to come up in the competition of the USA.

You are deluded. All these Indian CEOs are paid employees working under directions of the actual promoters and owners. They don't control these big brands and can be sacked any time. Plus they are all US citizens with no false loyalty towards India let alone politicians like Modi. For every Pichai or Nadella there are thousands of Indians working at less than 5000 USD per month. Very few Indians succeed or become millionaires in the US or Canada. Many of them come back to India after saving some money.
