तलवलकरजी के वादन में ‌जो स्वर का अनुनाद पैदा होता है वह बनारस की तरह खुला हुआ है ,बजाते तो बहुत से कलाकार है लेकिन इनके वादन ‌ में तथा इनके पिता का वादन सबसे अलग है आजकल डिबिया माडल तबले का चलन है मुझे प्रभावित नहीं करता है अपने बचपन में हमारे पं‌ केदारनाथ पांडेय ब्यासजी जैसी वादन शैली में आपका वादन है बहुत सुंदर सुस्पष्ट है ‌। चिरायु भव!!!

Full fingers on the bass miximum attack and range played almost limitless speed, open bass and also ridiculously fast with accuracy and range as a result. Delivery and dynamics are woven together with a linier sence of the timing meaning is true to the lehara concept that is understood, very rare in my opinion. Speed and prucusive elements along with tuning and tonality of the treble side are very good indeed. So many other grate players but here we have a truly exiting and exceptional tabla player that is second to none kyaa bhatai!

PERFECT TEMPO. IT IS INSANE!!! HOW CAN MAN MAKE SUCH PERFECTLY CRAFTED MUSIC LIVE!!! Indian music is on another level. it can tell you actual stories it can communicate the compositor's emotions. how exactly the artist feels and felt during telling his story to you through this composition. the ups n downs tikitakatikitaka dummmm in various lenghts n tempos n volume... fucking crazyyyyyyy man. At first i could literally visualize the sound waves coming out this music piece :o like holy fuck!!!!!! This is REALLY overwhelming recieving all those emotions n information from someone else's life n perspective. I can visualize exactly what the artist(creater of this piece) wanted to make us visualize. Like a war going on filled with sadness n death. the intense fighting and the loss of life. men with turbans fighting for their holy cause. Big battle. Blood. Elephants. Soldiers fleeing the battle.

I somehow have an audio recording of this exact performance from out in the audience. It's one of my favorite tabla recordings to listen to. You can hear the audience gasping constantly which doesn't come through in this recording, but it's so cool to now see the video. LOVE the 5/4 section. Pranams to Taal Yogi!
