I know people watching will be a little freaked out by hitting delete, but I promise I just did this on my MacBook Pro 2012 and it works, it basically converts that disk you made at the beginning into additional unallocated space for you to install windows. Well done!

Interesting… I followed your directions but I wasn’t able to reformat that partition in the Windows installation wizard. Instead I just deleted the partition, selected “new” and it created a usable partition for me (along with a 16mb partition). Thanks for the tip! I tried reformatting with Linux’s Gparted and Mac’s Disk Utility but I would’ve never guess to put it back into extended journaled format!

The windows setup goes to finishing up stage and then it shows Installation can not be go to next phase , which has to be after a reboot setup process.
