I wouldn't quite call it blues, but I'm unfamiliarized with his solo albums. Blue's inspired, ok. His work with Madrugada is fantastic and Industrial Silence is, in my opinion, a nothing-short-of-amazing, dark and melancholic indie album. In the vein of Nick Cave, Cohen, etc. with a hint of (good) Pearl Jam "poppiness" to it.

I remembered my first time hearing this. It was absolutely unpredictable. Not your typical clean vocals and screaming. Just that its Sivert's singing alone made it a masterpiece And the lyrics are amazing. Every time I play this song I have to put it on repeat for a while before I can move on to another song. In the beliefs of many religions, one can only be reborn when the body is cremated. And the queen of souls can be an imaginary figure, a last resort that a dying person believes in, trying to believe that there is SOMETHING MORE after death. Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong, but for me it's one of the heaviest, beautiful and at the same time terrifying song lyrics.
