Went to Hawkins burgers in L.A. bout a week ago because I heard about it for years and saw a food review and happened to be in the area. Got semi-pressed within minutes of ordering a double-burger, medium fri…and large Dr. Pepper. Told the brotha I was from the Bay Area and he damn near gave me a pop quiz on where I was from to see if I was really from the Bay Area. He started naming restaurants and streets in the area I grew up and based on the convo I passed the press test. Turned into a cool conversation and I gotta semi day pass…..I think lol.
