I don't think you've done their evolution of Lady Gaga yet either - hoping someone on Patreon requests that because that is also incredible!

I don't think so either, unless i missed it also....And I don't think he's done PTX songs "Love Again", "Jolene" (won Grammy for their arrangement with Dolly), and "Gold, a Kiara cover"...all amazing but you will definitely be mitch slapped in Gold, and kicked by Kevin (and Avi) in Love Again.

They have basically sung together since they were 10, which probably explains some of how they're so in synch. And practice and chemistry. I'm not an expert, but they would definitely need to hear each other. I think I saw a video (maybe PTXperience one), where Scott's ear monitor stops working on stage and when the roadie is fixing the issue, he explains what it does: he hears the voice from other PTX member's microphones and also clicking that's helping to keep them on beat. In this one, they have a piano track made by Scott that they need to listen to. I liked the evolution of Lady Gaga even more, because it had more songs that I knew and liked. I suppose Miley is a bit less of a thing in Finland, although Wrecking Ball was impossible to avoid. The Empire medley is amazing even though I have never seen the show.

they both get into these strong but tender spaces in certain songs and when they lean into them it is usually magic.

I hope you'll reconsider doing their orginal music. The live one you watched of imaginary parties didn't really give a good representation of the song since the crowd was singing over the top of them the whole time. A lot of reactors start with the first song on the album and go in order since that's how they released the videos each week. A lot of it has to do with their story together over the years. By only watching live you miss out on some really great videos. I think you'd get a kick out of the future friends video. I know you say it's not your kind of music but either is most of the music ptx does or these medleys from superfruit but you sit through those. If guy.exe was the one you watched just know that's the funkiest one on the whole album. Most others are just pop sounds. Please try one more.

You should react to their very last video, The Promise. They'd taken a break from Superfruit and then came back together for one last video. Olympic figure skater, Adam Ripon, skates while they sing and it's just beautiful. Then, a year or so later, they guested on his show about skating and took to the ice. It's fun to watch the two together.

The Promise video is really beautiful. It is a cover, but I hadn't heard the original before I saw the Superfruit version. I liked their appearance on Adam's video. The horror on Mitch's face is real, which is not really surprising if that was his first time ice skating. One would think it would be even scarier for Scott, who has a longer way to fall. I watched some of the other Breaking Ice episodes too. Gus Kenworthy is almost suspiciously good, though I suppose having the strength and balance of an alpine skier would help.

You have to be able to hear the person or people you are harmonizing with to stay on point. Many singers like myself, just 'hear' the possible harmonies in their head and jump in and experiment until you find the one that is most pleasing to the ear. Sometimes it's higher, sometimes it's lower depending on the person's range. Sometimes you discover you need to switch who does the melody because it just takes it to the next level. That all happens by trying it out. Often when people stop harmonizing and all sing the melody it can be because any harmonizing note is too close and clashes or sounds sharp or flat or just plain screams in your head that these things just do not blend and two or three lines later they mix beautifully again. Another reason to sing some of the melody together is to create greater impact or emphasis on either a certain message the song is trying to bring to the forefront or possibly wanting the lyrics coming after the chorus to take on greater meaning, or emotion or vocal power to build and stand out. There are a lot of moving and fluid parts of the recipe to weave it all together and if it's truly about the music being the best it can possibly be there is a lot of give and take and egos need to be left outside the door. And these guys and all of PTX are a blinding example of what the final result can be because they have no problem doing exactly that; their final product sounding as perfect as possible, is everyone's goal every single time. And just watch them sometime to see the honest appreciation on their face for what the other is capable of doing and loving and encouraging (and sometimes getting lost in it) rather than just focusing on their own part. 💖

The climb was one of her greatest songs..so much passion..from Hanna Montana the movie..in my opinion those early years was when she was at her best..she changed so much and not always for the better, when she got older..I'll let it end there..Superfruit Mitch and Scott were great here ..those voices together ..smooth as butter❤..thank you Saucey.

I’ve heard it said that family acts, in general, and brother acts, in particular (when they’re actually brothers) have a leg up when it comes to performing…I’m guessing that having sung together since such an early age has had much the same effect. Whatever it is…IT WORKS!!!

I don't like Miley, but I like Superfruit, therefore I like this video. I really wish they were this close; despite Scott having a fiance now, it shouldn't hinder their friendship. I think their relationship was kind of unhealthy for a time, but look at this chemistry!

Maybe they are (slowly) finding a new balance in their relationship. I think there was a bit a couple of years ago where they seemed almost nervous around each other and it even shows to someone like me, who used to be a casual follower for years and then came a full blown Pentaholic and watched lots of PTXperience and Superfruit in a short-ish time.

Yes that was a little hard to see how distant they'd become but they did go live a couple times since then and it was so much better. One from the ptx tour bus in 2019 and one at the very start of the pandemic. They were back to joking around and cuddling with each other.
