The title makes it sound like you ran a 4:50 mile in them which I found intriguing.Thanks for sharing! Was disappointed in the lack of durability and snap in the Speed 3s so I went back to the 2s and I think they're a faster and more durable shoe. Looking forward to the 4s - you've sold them well!!

I Think Saucony used my foot shape for their Endorphin Speed 4 mould!!!! I can’t find any other shoe or make like it for versatility. I’ve enjoyed every Speed version for slightly different reasons. The Speed 3s fell apart at the toe box seams only because of the exceptional rain we’ve had in the UK for months and months!!!

I still have a pair of the first and second model however I skipped the third model. Recently picked these up & they’re amazing! I also have the Boston 12. Different shoes but both have the same intentions. I’m interested in seeing it’s durability because the outsole is exposed. Nevertheless, they’re amazing!😊

Just picked up a pair. First run was AMAZING. Could be the best Endorphin Speeds yet…

Love it, Chris. Just bought the version 4 myself. Used them 4 times and they are OUTSTANDING! Question: How many miles/km do you think you can run in them before you need to by a new pair of running shoes? It's because I've bought them with the purpose of using them as the only running shoe since they are so versatile.

just ticked off 300km in mine, used for everything in my current marathon training block, long run/speed work/tempo/recovery runs. It does everything. Only down side is that I must have slightly changed my running style with these as the rear half has started to wear pretty badly, think they will be retired by 400-450km. Oh, they will be my marathon race shoe too.

@@FordyRuns tried the speed 4 but couldn’t get on with the fit holding my heel deep enough and felt to narrow. Tried the rebel v4 and it’s a banger! Went up half a size as it was short and feels great. Haven’t had a shoe with no hotspots that just disappeared on my feet, for a long time! Great recommendation from your rebel vid 👌🏻

Have both and right now would say the speed 3 by far had more energy return. Speed 4 is stiffer “at the moment” to the point it caused some shin splints. Went back to my 3s today and splints were non existent… 🤷🏽♂️

so this is better than Adidas Boston 12 that has soft and firm ride, Puma Deviate Nitro 2 and New Balance SC Trainer v3??
@FordyRuns7 ай бұрын
Yep
@wordsovsean89057 ай бұрын
I can only compare to the Deviate Nitro 2 which I have done close to 500km in (across 2 pairs). I think the Speed 4 is better for more up tempo stuff. I haven't gone all out in it, but I went for a 10km run the other day with no plan and ran at 4:10 per km and it felt great and I felt great. On the other hand, I did a slow maybe 5:15 per km run for 10km and got some lower leg pain. The shoe feels a little stiff at these paces in my opinion. Once under 5:00 per km I can seem to get into more of a groove. The Deviate Nitro 2 handles slow paces very well and is very good at up tempo paces too, but I think the weight is a factor and the upper is not as breathable or as comfortable. It is also less stable. The speed 4 upper is fantastic and has a great tongue design with extra padding at the top to allow for lace locking if required. The Deviate upper is still good, but not in the same league for me anyway. I've run 55km in the Speed 4 so far. Four 10km runs and one 15km.

@@FordyRuns gotcha. I see the vids as you upload them on the feed. I read “review” in the title and this is definitely not that. You would write “specs overview” I would have saved my click and time for a more useful review.
