Couldn’t agree more, saved my London marathon, after having Achilles problem for 18 months cleared up in this shoe, put 300 miles in just over a month.👍

Just bought these for about 65 pounds in Bangkok where I live. Looking forward to wearing tomorrow. Great, informative video again. Keep up the good work.

I bought this shoe and loved it! Really improved my performance. I'm wondering now though, what shoe would I get if I wanted to upgrade from the Tempus? I'm not opposed to just buying it over and over again though.

As a stability wearer who does most tempo and speed work in stable-ish neutral shoes, I can't for the life of me run fast in this shoe. I enjoy this shoe as an easy/recovery/long run shoe. As soon as I add surges, GMP, or tempo paces, it is laborous. Doesn't hurt, just drags. I'd rather do those paces in my Kayano 27 or Shift v1, but I have way too many stable-neutral alternatives that better handle speed to long GMP to recommend this as a tempo trainer or your only stability shoe. I even think the Guide would be better for versatility if you could only pick one. But as a fun daily shoe? Yes! Love it!

interesting, i did a progressive 17 miles long run from easy pace (7:45 min mile) to half marathon pace (5:50 pace) for the last 2 miles and felt like it did all paces just fine.

What would you use as a stable-ish neutral shoe for your speed work?

I have tempus and kayano 29. Tempus is lighter and hugs the back of your heels. It has better cushion on the midfoot area than kayano. Kayano has more cushion on the heel area than tempus but less cushion on midfoot I feel like. Kayano is better for walking, more comfortable for that. Tempus is better for running. I think people will give different opinions depending on body types also.

Thanks for your comments, I am currently looking to get either the Keyano or the Tempus, I am also extremely flat footed. I typically run on my forefoot and I mostly do 7 to 8 miles at decent pace...i have the Keyano 27 right now and I am starting to get blisters on the inside of my foot after about a year...Any pointers on which of these shoes would be best for someone in my situation.

@@mayo4rus NP. I think for me Kayano 29 is better for walking as they have more support on the heels. Tempus feels lighter even though I don't know this for a fact spec wise. Tempus feels more structured and it hugs my feet. Forefoot runner should definitely pick tempus IMHO. For long walk 100% I will pick Kayano 29. Bonus: If I was a heel stike runner I would pick Brooks Adrenaline GTS not Kayano. YMMV

I ran my first marathon in October and during my training period I‘be been using both the Ride 15 and the Endorphin speed 2. I weight around 60kg and although I am not a fast runner I’ve found the Ride to be ok during my easy, tempo and interval workouts but too stiff and at the same time spongy on 15+ km long runs. Even at slow paces here is where I’ve really noticed the difference and appreciated the Endorphin 2: faster rolling legs and my feet were not feeling smashed at the end of the long runs. In your opinion what are the key similarities and differences between the Ride 15 and the Tempus? Why would you prefer one over the other?

Hi, could you please answer the following questions...1. Which of the Hoka Arahi 6 or Saucony Tempus is more stable for someone who pronates inwards excessively? 2. Which of those shoes has the stiffer rocker? I dont have stores near me to try these and trying to figure out which one to go for. Thanks.

Which is softer and more comfortable for longer easy runs, Tempus or Triumph 20?
@paddywiggle
@paddywiggle Жыл бұрын
triumph 20 is softer, less spring and less stable, but very comfortable. tempus has more spring and stability, while still being cushioned enough for those who dont want maximal cushioning

Would you recommend this shoe for coming back after knee surgery (argh). I love the fit of Saucony but my speed and pro aren’t stable enough for this stage in my recovery (one min on/off on treadmill). Is there a shoe that you’d recommend instead? Thanks so much.

I'm a neutral shoe runner with high arches. I tried the speed 3 but it gave me a pain in the inside of my right foot. I think it's because it was too wobbly. Do you think this could be a good alternative?

I’ve really been wanting to try these but heard that the fit wasn’t great. When you say it was “true to size” may I ask if you go a half or full size up from your usual ‘casual’ shoe size. Thanks very much.

Hello guys, cudos from Brazil! One doubt I have; I am a heavy guy, 100 kilos and run a slow pace of 6min/km. Do you think the Tempus will work for me? In comparsion with the Guide 15 and the Arahi 6, which would be better for me? Thank you and Regards
@TheRunTesters
@TheRunTesters Жыл бұрын
Probably a tough call between the Tempus and the Guide. It's been a long time since we've been this impressed with a stability shoe so we'd probably go for the Tempus.

Does it matter that a shoe is slow? Surely if I train in a slow shoe then when I race in a fast one I'll be even faster?
@JoutarouKuujou1

if you want to race fast you need to train fast, mix with slow so you can recover for your next speed session

I got them after trying out multiple different ones, because these are hugging my foot perfectly and firmly, including the arch, which gives me great foot control and contact to the ground. they could've been lighter imo since I did notice the weight in my recent runs, but I also am just getting back into running 🤷‍♀️

Hi guys always love your reviews and valued opinions. Would you say the PWRRUNPB in the Tempus is like the version in the Pro/Speed 1 and 2 or like the PWRRUNPB in the Pro 3? I wish they'd called that new softer version PWRRUNPB 2.
@TheRunTesters
@TheRunTesters Жыл бұрын
Good question. I'd definitely say more like the 1 and 2, although a slight bit more substantial and softer.

I love these but chunks of that stupid foam came off after three weeks. I wish they would put the rubber on the outside, just a light coat so that doesn't happen.
