Thanks for the trip back to Jeddah. In the 70s that journey najran, Abba, khamis, taif was mountain trails, sand trails no roads accept from taif to jeddah. The temperature could reach 50c in the coastal plains. There were a few wells and oasis but a very barren country. Quite a change
