Hey Alex hope you are doing amazing. I have been investigating about this airline for a few days, they actually have ordered 72 B787 dreamliner and they will reveal the narrow body orders and the second livery (B737Max is the one people thinks they are ordering) sometime in november or december. Also they have done a lot of smart things. They could have revamped Saudia but instead they created a new airline because that way they have no legacy to live up for so they can decide what they want to be. Also the livery and the name as you said they want to open saudi arabia for tourism with these megaprojects so when people see a purple airplane they will recognize Riyadh just as the people now see a blue airplane and they recognize KLM, Amsterdan. Same with the city, just as many people thinks dubai is a country they want to create that hype and what better way to do it that putting the name of the city in the name of the airline. Also they are not even flying now and they are already the sponsors of the Atletico de Madrid because of the exposure that will give them. And lastly hiring the ex Etihad Ceo because the man knows how to run the bussines in the middle east I'm excited to see the product itself like the cabins and what they will offer but its exciting news for the aviation world in the middle east. I'm a fanboy for Etihad🤎 but i'm excited for riyadh air too.

I applied for cabin crew post in March 2023 on their website. After a few weeks of waiting I received an online briefing email invited last July 14. Then after a few weeks I also received an email informing I made it on the next stage of recruitment process. Now waiting for the next process of interview. Looking forward to be part of this airline. ❤

We shall just see how this goes. Ambitious ambitions but a lot these things often don't go well. Way to early to speculate on salaries and more importantly the treatment of the staff. Always lot of strings that come working for a carrier in the Mideast in addition to salary. It will take a long time to evolve.
