I'm 36 years old with no prior cabin crew experience but I have an extensive customer service experience and people always think I'm 10 years younger than I really am. I went to a Qatar airways open day and passed all the way to the final interview with 5 other people. In the end we all got rejected after blue pictures because turns out, that Qatar doesn't need more cabin crew right now. So I went to have a look at Emirates open day, mostly just see how it differs etc. And I was sent home right after the 1st assignment with all the people that were even a year above 30. And they kept everyone else (even with questionable dress code and weak English) for the height and English tests. That told me everything I needed to know.

Aviation vloggers should be a bit more careful when publishing flights reviews. There can be some sad consequences for the the cabin crew. They keep on publishing videos while people lose their job and face a terrible situation Nobody is perfect, cabin crew can make mistakes. It’s life. I unsubscribed from Josh cahill’s channel. He seems to enjoy digging the dirt and have dramas. I won’t support him anymore more will I watch any video of his channel anymore

That dude talks nonsense when he does his reviews. He talks about "oh the flight attendant wasn't smiling, ohhh the seats are old" I don't really care I want to know if they check the weight and the size of your suitcases. And what they allow as on board and so on. He says nothing about that. I dont care if the crew smiles or not. If the bathroom is dirty I can deal with that. But I absolutely hate it when they try to say my personal item is too big or something and would try to force passengers to pay fees for checked suitcases.

I didn’t get any response from Etihad after my video submission was successfull, 5 months almost.

With this video I could see the differences between all 3 which I've been interested in and which is better. I must say I was so close to Emirates, but Etihad seems so much more relaxed as well with the marriage which I love and the travel that they offer for their cabin crew. I'm very tempted to go with Etihad. but what I also love about Etihad is that it is still growing and can be quicker to get to business flight which is so awesome, as you've said. I received the email saying they are in stage of assigning me the DOJ 3 weeks ago and nothing after that, I told them I don’t need a notice period

I just did 4 business class segments w/ Qatar in business class and the crew was awesome, the food was solid (they did run out of some items), and the seat and entertaiment was fantastic. Meanwhile Josh Cahill just flies around the world looking for drama like a jet age Karen. I unsubscribed from him recently, he's just looking for things to be negative about.
