Very nice and comfortable way to get to Mecca from Madina. Very resonably priced as well considering this is a 270 mile journey. It definitely brought to mind the difficulty of the Prophet's ﷺ hijra in the 7th century.

Honestly they didn't care what I took. I took a carry-on and 2-3 smaller bags, but this was during the low season. Not too many people, especially in business class. If it is high season or Hajj, I would definitely check their website, but pretty similar to plane requirements.

No, not just for Muslims. While visiting Makkah is specifically for Muslims, non-Muslims can take the train from Jeddah to Madinah (or vice versa) to see the Prophet's Mosque or to simply see Madinah or Jeddah 🤍 As long as they are respectful of the culture, religion, and modesty it will be okay. 🩷
