The only way to build wealth is the Dutch model. The Dutch raised educational standards and with a focus on engineering. This allows a country to do more in-house manufacturing. However, Saudi Arabia education and it lack of resources make hard them to succeed in that model.

What are you saying is literally being implemented since a long time. I get why you wouldn't know when it is something doesn't interest the news. I'll say how it is implemented in 3 different ways: the 2nd highest sector the government spends on after military is education. last 6 years the country spent around 300 billion dollars on education. 1. Most of Saudis young generation leaders in certain sectors nowadays did study abroad in prestigious universities mostly USA. 2. Many academies opened up in Saudi Arabia from large known companies for example Apple. 3. Collage and high school changed a lot of its systems since 2030. the two points that explain why the vast majority of Saudis trust their government in 2030 mission is: 1. The immense growth of industrialization - this is by FAR noticed by every Saudi a lot of stuff we didn't manufacture in the past we do now. the jobs it offered and Oppurtunites is wild! 2. the high care of education. You probably think what it is happening is just megaprojects and buying players with so much money.
