Saudi family bid emotional farewell to maid of 33 years

A Filipino domestic help has bid farewell to her employer after 33 years of service.
In a video which has been shared across Twitter and Facebook, the maid can be seen being escorted to the airport by her employer's family. It was an emotional farewell, with both the Saudi family and the maid breaking down in tears.
According to the Filipino Times, the domestic help was escorted by the Saudi family before she boarded a flight back home to the Philippines. A series of videos of the event was posted by a certain Anthony Enriquez on Face book. The Face book post reveals that the anonymous Filipino maid looked after two generations of the Saudi family, as well their wards.

I also had a nanny before whom i loved very much.. we were so close but then again there comes a time where in she needed to go back to her family so i had no choice but to agree on letting her go.. it was so painful and i still remember how i kept on crying for her to take me also but its not possible ofcourse.. Filipino nanies are really amazing.. they will take care of you as if you are their own.. that is why it pains me everytime i hear and see them on the bews being killed or maltreated by their employers.. i hope stories like these one will teach people to love and care whether you are the master or the servant.. love begets love..

Do not ever underestimate filipino "maids". They are not really maids as what they are being called. But they are the very vein of goodness. They sacrifice themselves abroad to give their families back home a decent life.. they are abused, sometimes killed and raped but the truth is, THEY ARE HEAVEN SENT... when parents have not time for their kids, they stood valiantly and do everything for the kids-feed them emotionally and spiritually. "Maids" as they call them, sustains, strengthens the mental, emotional, psychological psyche of every child. No wonder, "maids" especially Filipinos are the second best thing that a foreign family could ever have. It has been proven even by the Royal families abroad. FILIPINO MAIDS are full of LOVE... They share themselves by heart. To quote PIA, they are BEAUTIFUL WITH A HEART ( lemme add this - ) and A GOOD SOUL!!!! Our helpers back home, are still with for decades now. We treat them as our own family. We share what we have, we eat on the same table, we console each other during difficult times. For me, MAIDS should not be used but rather "GUARDIANS" (of our homes and belongings, of our kids and family) is the more appropriate word.
