simple .. Saudi Arabia had only ~1.6 million population in 1950's now 22 million ... and since most of the population are Young people ... they NEED JOBS and they can't get any jobs when there's 11 million foreigner workers ... so there is no room for two of us ... and the locals have the right to get a job in their own country instead of traveling to the west for jobs

They have their own governments to take care of them! Why do these government exist in the first place if they can't provide jobs for their own people! People who don't thank people who have done a favor for them and provide them jobs, with salaries they can never dream of back home, cannot thank god! billions of dollars were pumped into their respected country's economy for ages and now it's the citizen's turn! How ironic!, we employ them, help them and welcome them in our country and then they say we enslave them because they don't have the same benefits as a citizen! It's time to kick out the ungrateful workers and keep the workers who work hard and love the country that they reside in! thanks, and peace!

Double OO will the money we give them someone gave thrm to us and if we paid them more then the amount of money that will go outside will be so huge imagne adding 100 sar to every worker payment how much you say 100×10.000.000=1.000.000.000 imagne 1b go out of our country that easy and the reason why saudis get more payment than non saudis because he get these money in sa and he will spend them in sa so that is why indians(the mexicans in the gulf) payment is less than saudi workers. And 1000 sar is enough to feed his parents in india

The main reason Saudi Arabia decided on "Saudization" which has nothing to do with racism mind you, is because our youth, who are gradutaing from universities are not finding jobs, and i'm one of them, i have studied and graduated 2 years ago, and until now i can't find a job in the privet sector... why is it? because cheap forigen labour... so what do i do?? i have the skills and i'm willing to work... however in reality, almost every privet sector company would rather hire a poor forigner than hire us saudi's... not because the forigen labor work better then us but because they are willing to work at a very low wage, which i feel sorry for, but however this is unacceptable to us saudi graduates, so the best answer is to try to make it difficult for the foreigners and companies to hire cheap labor or what id like to call (privet sector slaves)

Yasser Gattan you're partually right. but one of the many reasons why the private sect don't hire Saudi grads it's because of their laziness factor. some of them or most of them always like literally uses their phones doing snapchat and all those social trending apps even at work. not very focus on their jobs. and also Saudi grads refuses to work in private sects coz of low salary even if it's already above minimum than expats. but anyways i agree to yout govt. to hire 1st saudis than anyone else it's the right thing to do.

Yes, it's your country, you should get the jobs 1st. The b.s that foreigners are more hard-working is just b.s . They are more hard-working as they don't have a choice, they will get kicked out, if they don't . If foreigners were really hardworking, why can't, they stay in their own country and give that, hard work, to their own country ? We know, the reason, it's because, their institutions, are corrupt, broken and incompetent ! . If they were all hard-working and conscientious , in the 1st place , they would not need to leave !

I don’t get why people are mad?? First of all it’s Saudi Arabia so saudis have more rights to have jobs because it’s their country. It’s very hard to find jobs here because of foreigners having most jobs. Also if more saudis work in Saudi then the money won’t go out of the country, it’ll stay in Saudi but if for example an Indian worker will have his money transferred to India. It’s not about being racist we have lots of people here from all around the world and they have been provided free shelter and jobs but Saudis have more rights to work in their country the any other foreigner.

Saudi Arabia is always great. And its people are great. Our ancestors were poor, starved to death and no one even helped us. Yet here we're. With or without the oil, Arabia has always been great. From the Gulf to the Ocean. Without a single drop of oil. We're the grandchildren of these people. Nothing is hard for us.

The reason Saudi has low living expenses as opposed to Western Europe, for instance, is largely due to cheap labor force, A forced and swift replacement of this cheap labor with the much more expensive Saudi labor will only drive inflation rates to skyrocketing levels.

Cam we just have the Saudis get the job if they are eligible not just cuz they are saudi and btw the indians, Pakistanis and Filipinos work as hard labor jobs but "pay well" consisted in there own country. Westerners live the country and can help keep it good and even nake it better and won't give any problems but. Yes we are fine paying the dependent fees. I just want to call saudi my second home.

Every country has the right to make living standards good for its own citizens. Foreigners in Saudi Arabia were well aware that they were moving to a country where citizenship is not an option neither for them or their children born in Saudi Arabia. That is just Saudi law unfortunately and nobody could tell them how to create their laws. The world is a big place though. If Saudi Arabia didn’t work out there are a 180 other countries on Earth!

Because the foreigners built your country. They did jobs you could not / were too stupid to do. This is a fact - not because i have anything against Saudi - but on the contrary: Any country that has been in existence for less than a 100 years will require time to develop. Naturally, the GCC relied *heavily* on asian workers of all wealth brackets to do major jobs. Not just labor, but professional work as well. However, your country has treated asian workers (especially of muslim faith) like absolute garbage. Monthly visa fee for dependants? No passport? No citizenship? No healthcare coverage or education? *and then you decide to add VAT across the GCC?* It is the ignorance of the Arabs that will be their downfall. No economy can thrive without it's low/middle class earners. Kicking out foreigners will only force them to seek alternatives elsewhere. "All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor does a black have any superiority over a white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves"

Allow me to share some insight: The GCC has relied on Asian migrants (labors, workers, import/export) for decades. Without them, their countries would not be what they are. This is a fact. Look at the demographic breakdown of every GCC country and realize that Indians, Pakistanis, Filipinos, Bangladeshis make up a majority. Unlike the rest of the world, when people migrate to a country and live there for decades (some as long as the history of the country's existence) - you become a citizen. The GCC, however, refuses to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of these migrants and imposes residence visa requirements (including ridiculous monthly visa charges in KSA) on every migrant. This is absolutely horrendous. If you want a religious perspective: What you're doing is anti-islamic. "US vs. THEM". The Prophet (pbuh) said: "All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor does a black have any superiority over a white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves". Some misconceptions of uneducated people: - Migrants send money back home so it's a problem: *No, migrants HAVE to send money back home because we CANNOT become citizens of the GCC. If we could pass certain criteria and become naturalized citizens, people would not be sending back money* - All migrants send money back home: *NO, most middle/high class income brackets do not send money back home. They work here and spend here. Even if they did, it is a fault of your country's decision making* - Our people come first: *Your people represent a fraction of your populace. Go and study economics. If migrants start leaving your country, sure you can have your jobs but the billions lost in expenditure and the lack of workers doing menial jobs will hurt you more than anything else* I despise every person of any nationality who says "our people, our culture". Yeah well, if i've been living in your country for 30+ years, i should be a part of YOUR people and YOUR culture. Speaking of culture, what culture does the KSA have? or any GCC country for that matter? Saudi's culture is an infusion of Islam and heritage. You're not unique whatsoever. So yes, go ahead and kick out all the hard working migrants. It started with horrendous wages, poor living conditions, no regulations or benefits like healthcare and vacations (until the international community brought this to light 10 years ago). It is your arrogance that will be your downfall. Educated migrants will either go back and reinvest in their country or move to another (Europe, the Americas, Asia etc). - but your countries with their materialistic infrastructure and hyper arrogant discrimination will suffer the most. Wake up and smell the coffee - expats are a CORE part of your society. We're not a minority, nor a nuisance. We're what makes your country tick. Start treating them better and perhaps, just perhaps, you'll flourish enough to reach standards of education and development like the rest of the world. Tall buildings alone are nothing to be proud of.

This is not about declaring war - this is about nationalism vs patriotism. As long as the arabs continue to ignore facts and stimulate nationalistic responses, problems won't go away but get worse.

I cannot even understand why Filipinos go to Saudi Arabia to work when the salary they receive is just a little bit more than what they earn at home. A cigarette vendor in the Philippines earn much more than those Filipinas domestic helpers in Saudi Arabia. No wonder, many of they have been in SAudia for 10 to 20 years their families still live in dilapidated houses. They should instead go back home, live with their families and engage in business they know and can afford. Saudization is good for the Saudis. Its time they toil for their keeps and become independent from the benevolence of their king.

For those who have "free accommodation, free transportation", who are by the way get salaries under the poverty line, Do you think from who their companies rent these complexes to accommodate them?and who is owning the buses to transport them? or the hospital they are treated in? Aren't they all Saudis? but companies pay that directly to us ! Give these foreigners adequate salaries and they will bring their families ! and they won't send their weak salaries out And for those foreigners who have adequate salaries already and brought their families, they are already here ! why would we kick them out ?! More people = More money circulating in the economy = Saudis are richer, -- Economy 101 my friend and I am not talking about human right and how they should be treated like us in salaries and freedom of movement, let this go. We are mostly xenophobic in Saudi Arabia, we won't understand these stuff. But I am talking about all of that Saudi's companies who are losing hundred of millions of potential revenues. TheManWhoDoubts I'm extremely skeptical about wheat her you're actually a Saudi or not, because if you were you would understand what I'm coming from. I assume you're not a Saudi for few reasons, 1- you said we're kicking expats out, we're not, we're just imposing stricter rules which would give priority to Saudi citizens above expatriates and foreigners when it comes to filling a job. 2- You claim Saudi gives salaries below the poverty line, if what you claim is true then why would 11 million expats come all the way to Saudi just to make a below poverty salary? That doesn't make sense and defeats the purpose. 3- at lease one member of every Saudi household has a person who is unemployed beyond his will, so high chances are that you've a brother, a sister, a friend or a cousin who is unemployed and has no money except from his family. I doubt you're a Saudi.
