I honestly think he picked Blanka as a bit of a sandbag. Kind of random way to play a char most aren't super comfortable against, as well as hiding his Luke from players so they can't get direct experience against him. If his Blanka was/is getting washed or runs into a bad matchup, he can switch. Could be wrong and Blanka is his actual main, but it'd speak volumes about how far ahead he could be right now if he literally won a major tournament with his backup character.
