I think it’s a good addition to her discography, and like that she focuses on an indie rock pop rock sound this album, and look forward to what she does next. Speaking of, I also enjoyed her NXT EP

I figured that Sault hadn't entered your radar. I was really surprised at the end of last year that you didn't mention them at all, as both their albums were in my personal top 25. I'm glad you finally discovered this fantastic collective of musicians. I always have fun trying to identify who's playing on these tracks. I can imagine they have impressive roster. I do have agree with you the NINE isn't quite the revelation of their previous albums. I like it very much, but it just doesn't feel as "meaty" as their Untitled projects. It comes off as somewhat flimsy by comparison, although there is still plenty to latch your ear on to. I'm also glad I was able to snag a copy before it disappears completely. Thanks for this review.

Hey there Anthony, I just found out the lead singer of my favourite band put out a solo album a year ago and I hadn't seen anything about it. It's very good and I can't recommend it enough, it's Niscitam by Blake Scott, the lead singer of the Peep Tempel. It's immediately one of my favourite albums and with no touring this past year and very little said about it it could really do with the review. Thanks!

Honestly a very fair critique of this record, it definitely does not have the substance of 5, 7 or the two Untitled releases but felt like something to help tide the fans over/a bit of experimenting with some new sounds and direction- especially given the limited time release. Really glad to see you showing some love to the group given the sheer volume of high quality material they've been putting out the last 2 years. Given your lateness to the party and not yellow flanneling the crap out of their previous work I'm feeling a strong 6 to a light 7 on this review. TRAN...

AIR released today a mind blowing orchestral masterpiece akin to an Oscar winning soundtrack to an epic movie. SAULT have proven they can do, soul, Funk, Post Punk, Dance, Afro, Psych but who DF would have known they could male classical as well. Can wait for Fantano to review it

On production, creativity and musicianship - totally agree with you. London Gangs, Trap Life (oh that final third hits hard) and You from London resonated most with me. It's not as cohesive or strong as Untitled (rise) or Untitled (black is) and topping Monsters will be a challenge (both musically and lyrically).

If you're reviewing early album of the year, can you review Deep England by NYX & Gazelle Twin or They're Calling Me Home by Rhiannon Giddens & Francesco Turrisi. These are two of my favorite albums of the year and both were dropped in march and april. The fist one is a fusion between atmospheric folk music and industrial (I bet all my money that you will love the song Much Better in My Day) and the second one it's a collection of well written folk songs with amazing performance.
