I had an aunt and uncle who lived on Goode's Ferry Blvd. I had recurring dreams about floating, not really falling off the water tower next to them. We lived on the other side of Mecklenburg County so really that's pretty much the only place we went in South Hill.

I grew up there in the 50s and 60s...it was very safe then...as the years have gone by it reflects many of the changes in our society and values...it's not quite the same, but still relatively speaking a peaceful and safe place to be.
