I always loved the blue wizards and have wanted to know more about them

I thought the easterlings, haradims included, were first corrupted by Morgoth, soon after they awoke. They were tricked into worshipping him. Those who resisted became the renegades and headed west into Beleriand and they were the ancestors of the Numenoreans. Please let me know if I'm wrong. Also, unless I've missed something, Tolkien never actually describes in much detail what life in Harad is like. The closest he gets is when Sam looks into the eyes of one of the haradim and wonders what he's feeling and what his life's like, outside minas morgal, from memory. For many years, I've wondered the same about the easterlings. Another thing - I heard somewhere that there were elves in the east. Whether they were in Harad or Rhun instead, I'm not sure. Another video queries whether the elf king in Mirkwood trades wine with people located in the sea of Rhun - although I thought they would've been heading to Laketown.
