Listening to this I have what might be a constructive idea. I learned through this there were two falcon sign restocks that have come and gone I never heard of despite signing up to be alerted for those restocks on the RT store. I wonder if for these small targeted releases like you say, there could be a newsletter, I would absolutely sign up for it because I do feel a little defeated in the sense I don't want to camp on social media, I don't enjoy it much weird for my generation but is what it is there. Also when things are in content usually it is saying they are gone so I would love something to come to my email saying hey these things are coming this time, and have it in writing since the auto alerts for specific products seem to not be working terribly well on the store.

Agreed. I saw the first notice for the restock that they posted on social media, so I signed up to be notified by the RT Store, but I was never notified. Then I didn't even know there was another one that happened. One of the few merch items that I really wanted. That and the No Scrumping sign, which I also didn't get notified for its restock. Bummer!

I think Eric is right, I love it when the guys get really into a bit like halo challenges, drafts, etc but the best is that they immediately pivot on something new. we don't need a regular drafts season, just keep doing what you find fun and exciting and move on when you find a new thing.

I wonder if it's also the nature of the items. When you pre-order something, the company has a trend. There's a graph and backing. These items are niche, too niche. The company can't guarantee. Also, supply chain is always an issue. You have a niche item, your supply chain is so limited. To not handle it, just buy the batch, it's to quality, and put it on.

As someone who has never bought a piece of RT merch, FF merch (in particular the gurpler) that I can use in my day to day life is high prize. Merch that is both useful & rooted in content is a safe bet i feel tho. I was certainly upset about the gurpler situation but I understand that you guys are in a rock & a hard place. Please do a larger restock if it’s possible

​@evanvanwormer6805 I think it's that draw mechanic. You do a sign up, get an email and hope then boom you get an email saying you won or not. It makes it feel bad. Compared to now where you're just racing against other buyers on a store page. Also, sneaker drops are hyped up and big plus you can reliably find a reseller, these guys are trying to make it part of an existing store.

Trying to sell a product can be an immense undertaking. I wrote and published an ebook. I don't have physical media costs but I still need to sell copies if I want to recoup the cost to publish. I don't lose money from having stacks of books in a warehouse, but even if my book sits on ebook platforms and doesn't sell it gets less and less priority in searches and gets buried. The world of merch and product sales is a rough one.

They like to bring up the Skateboard as an example, and it always baffles me. Yes they said they could have promoted it better, but it's not even that. I listen to every episode religiously, and when they mentioned in one episode that the skateboard didn't sell, I am like "what skateboard?" Also, as a business, they have numbers and statistics for all this and there is a disconnect somewhere. Yes, you may have never thought this item would sell out in 5 minutes, but when it repeatedly happens to every single big item you promote, and have a whole sausage talk discussing it, then there is a problem. You run the risk of alienating fans if they keep missing out on every item they want to buy, and eventually they will stop caring to buy and you'll lose them.

I mean these items aren't shirts. These are usually unique items, the baseballs for example that was done and put Geoff out for awhile. Fridge magnet that opens up. The issue is that these are niche items, graphs cover things but your graphs will be limited when the business sells say records because all the information is in clothing or accessories, not records.
