The manufacturer Savage basically makes his rifles with a twist for heavy bullets in almost all calibers produced, so be guided and select ammunition, as a rule, with heavy bullets and the shooting produced on the video shows this clearly.

Great review. Thanks a bundle. Very, very important information on trigger. I just pick up the Storm in 7 mag in December. It is great so far. We went ahead & ordered this Apex in the Apex Storm 30/06 for my son's elk/deer rifle. We appreciate & enjoy your content. Your accent is a joy to hear as well. Keep it up.

great review... lots of pertinent information. after a few reviews on youtube and articles I've bought this rifle in .308 for my son to hunt whitetail deer in TN. i wish i had bought the 110 15 years ago when i first got interested.... a bit pricier now LOL BTW... at 15:47 a bug landed on lower target just before you moved to top... now that would have been epic video if you had hit the bug :)

I have the same rifle in .270 Win and I love it. Haven't had a single issue yet and it's been spot on out to 450 meters every time. The blade can be an issue with gloves but I'd still rather have it than a regular single stage trigger.

I have it in that caliber too, I got it originally with two four round magazines and then I later got another two more. The second pair that I got are the exact same magazines as the original pair but the second pair has problems feeding. The spring doesn't seem to push the rounds up properly. Either that or the mags don't sit high enough despite hearing the *click* when they go in the gun. I've tried loading them in with a smack, rear first or front end going in first and same, two feed good, the others not so much. Do you know a fix I can try? Thanks

@@User_Brandon no idea man. I only have the one mag that it came with and it works great. My only guess would be what you’ve already mentioned. Sorry I don’t have anything new to add. Good luck though!

@21:45 that's not how the damn thing is suppose to work. I hate when people do a review on a firearm and they obviously have no idea wtf they are talking about. Take the action out of the stock an then look at the trigger and secondary trigger. It's basically meant to keep the gun from firing if the gun is dropped. That's the only way to safely have a trigger set down to two pounds or less an carry for hunting, or normal shooting. Period. Idc what trigger you go an buy they are all unsafe under 4 lbs maybe 5.
