Savage Gear Sandeel Pencil SW 90, 125 and 150 - new colours, saltwater rigged

I have been fishing for a long time with these new colours of the long-casting Savage Gear Sandeel Pencil SW lures, and now I can finally tell you all about them! We are doing five new colours of all three sizes of the Sandeel Pencil, the 90, 125 and 150, and they are all rigged with proper saltwater trebles plus the right size single hook to use on the back of the lure if you prefer to rig like that.

Can't wait to get my hands on some of these. Got the pulse tail gravity stick yesterday so I'll give them a bash on Saturday in wexford. Hopefully it's a productive day 🤞watching my bass fishing with henry and wild fishing dvds now to get the excitement going haha

Ordered 2 of each color yesterday . I presume it’s because size of baitfish they are chasing is reason why one time they wouldn’t go for 125? I’m a big fan of yours Henry and started bass fishing in 2012 here in Cork harbor. Great to see you back fishing 😀. I’m excited about these lures as I mainly use skerries eels and have always wanted a reliable metal that catches. Toby’s have done well for me but thanks to these I have a bit of variety when using metals. Tight lines🐟🐟🐟

Thanks David, always been fishing, the addiction only gets worse! Yes, from a lot of fishing with these lures I find that one day or night they seem to want the 90, and then the next day or night it's the 125.

It's the first lure I use in the fjords that I fish, looking for that quick sea trout or salmon, or maybe one day a bass. I still don't understand why the locals only use inline versions. I use the fixed ones and they're far easier to switch between size and colour. I already re-rig mine to saltwater singles. Love the new colours.

Agree, the fixed hook version makes so much more sense to me

Inline might be better for trout since the lure won´t hang as a deadweight rippin the hook out of a hard mouth..! That is less of an issue for seabass..

It seems to me,that lures that don't "do much" are very successful in Bass fishing.... I wonder would the same apply to the likes of Pollock & Coalfish? That's got me thinking anyway.....might straighten some of my home made lures....... Thanks Henry,food for thought there.....oh,and those new colours DO look nice! 🎣

I know this is a very late reply but this very much does apply to pollock, they are a lot more wary than people give credit and they follow lures and turn away just as much as bass do. A small white or clear redgill is what normally sorts out the better fish. Literally no action apart from the very end of the tail. Deadly, Especially on pressured marks where they have already seen every lure going.

As it comes off the shelf, two trebles, or I do like a treble in the middle and that single which comes with it on the rear
