Agreed, the loot rules for savage aren't very intuitive and they are not like the loot rules for normal raids at all. At first I didn't realize you could get every piece of gear in one raid so I would only roll on the piece I wanted and skipped on the rest.

@@chiuwy3212 Oof! That's painful to hear. We all make mistakes at the start though. Personally my group has a loot priority system that we all agree to but that def doesn't apply to PF.

So this is likely a stupid question.... Let’s say that I go and clear E9S week 1 before weekly reset but the rest of my static clears on week 2. (And I reclear with them in the same party.) Would the chest penalty carry over into week 2 since I cleared on week 1 or is the penalty a part of weekly reset.

the chest penalty is part of the weekly reset, so you won't have the penalty when you play with your static on week 2

Does this game have any rare unique drops like in runescape? Recently started playing and am worried that the endgame content in this game doesnt have that jaw dropping rare loot like my previous MMO RuneScape had

It does not, there used to be something a few years ago but I think that's not in the game anymore and even if it is, it's no longer relevant.

@@IlyaDalamiq so just out of curiosity what exactly is the incentive to do end game content? Besides just the fact that it's engaging and challenging?

@@MinnowMan For me it is mainly for the challenge. To clear most content in the game you "technically" don't need to have the good gear, however the better the gear, the easier the content will become. Some content does require you to go after the best gear available each patch in order to attempt it. But, gear does get made irrelevant each even numbered patch 6.0/6.2/6.4 for example and you start the gear grind over again. As an example, in 6.2 we had a gear reset, me and my group farmed out the best in slot available so that we could attempt the "ultimate" difficulty raid in 6.3 which requires you to have the best gear available in order to challenge it. There is also content that does not reward you with "better gear" and will instead reward you with cosmetic items such as mounts/glamours/shiny weapons. So that is another incentive to engage with endgame content. Either you are rewarded with a stronger "stat stick" or with vanity rewards.

Hello, dont know if someone will anwser this but i have a question, so as you said you need to do the raids in order or othewise you get locked out from loot of the previeous floor, so what if i don't have a static and wanna do this with random people can i clear for example E8S with a random group and do E9S with another random group? offcourse i have to look out that everyone is on the same progress i gues to get the full 2 chest right?

right now all the eden raids are "unlocked" meaning that you always get full rewards regardless. but if i were to apply your question to our new raid tier for pandemonium, then yes. you can clear p1s with one group and clear p2s with another, as long as people have not yet cleared that week, you will get full rewards.

You might of already mentioned it but say you do a run and get 0 items, does that still count as your weekly run? ^^" only just caught up to being able to play the new content so its all a bit overwhelming

yes, you get 1 "chance" at loot, you will always get a book the first time you clear per week, so you can save those up and trade in for an item of your choosing. This is only for savage btw, if you do normal mode raids, you can run them as much as you want, until you get a piece of loot.

I have a question, I did the nier raid & got a bunch of loot yet I claimed them all but nun appeared in my inventory? Any idea on what I did wrong

hmm, maybe your armory inventory is full and it's in your actual inventory where you store your items?

@@IlyaDalamiq no my inventory is quite clean both inventory & armory, I usually sell items I don’t need, it has happened twice where in a raid or dungeon where I get loot from chests I claim them they never appear in my inventory

This sounds stupidly convoluted just to keep things 'fresh' and it's making me even *less* willing to give this crud a try. I just want the crap, I literally don't care about being a good or bad player, I've got legitimately better things to do than fight with this system and the community and what their ideas of a 'good player' are.
