Benny, buddy, please don't apologize for pausing. You're doing this thing perfectly man. You watch and listen, then pause when you need to share your thoughts with us, then you back the video up a few seconds before going on. You have absolutely nothing to apologize for. Cheers!

As you just saw, Miyako, who composes a lot of their music, is a concert-level classical pianist, and was originally on track to make classical music her career. When she was 18, she picked up a guitar, and we now see the result. She particularly likes the Romantic Era classical composers like Debussy, Dvořák, Chopin and Rachmaninoff. She composed Swan Song using elements of the New World Symphony (Dvořák) and Chopin’s Revolutionary Etude (which was used here as the prelude to Swan Song). All five members of the band are Jedi-level musicians, but I think Miyako is a once-in-a generation talent, a true savant.

in Dystopia Symphony she also put some Beethoven sonata ( 3rd mvt of moonlight sonata ). by the way the song is about the anger of beethoven discovering he is becoming deaf.

The singer, Asami gets her graceful moves from her ballet training. Miyako.....Genius ! Opposite to this is Raise Some Hell, which they do.

Midori learned piano and gave it up when she picked up the guitar at age 20, Miyako kept going on piano when she started at 18 on the guitar. Can you imagine a guitar battle and riff followed by a piano battle with these two.......mind blowing just to think about it. Honestly, my guitar playing friend is right it should be illegal to have this much talent in one band, as he watches the M & M show and sinks into complete depression (LOL)!!! This song shows off some of the other often subtle skills these women incorporate into their music. It is not merely the 80's metal gold but the masters of the past that often ends up swirled into their sound. Honestly, while these women are an inspiration to many they also totally intimidate many who are trying to learn to play their musical instruments. As I tell my friend you can't play as well as them but try and enjoy yourself and be as happy as they are playing and you will be just fine!!!!

Yes, this could easily be a classical piano piece. It is that beautiful! This is just a preview of Miyako's musical genius! Speaking of beautiful, Haruna with another relentless performance, blasting double bass all the way! Check out Rising - Empty Daydream - Raise Some Hell - Epilogue, all Live! 😀

Great and great review. An excellent review. I don't understand that thumb down. If you like that Miyako's switching instruments, try "Rising" live at Zepp Diver City Tokyo 2020. Yes, in the same album. Miyako comes back from piano to guitar, waltz to power metal. She switches so smoothly and quickly, it look like as if she is playing the same single instrument and on the same rhythm. If it is troublesome to make a review on it, you still should watch it for your personal joy. I guess you have already watched the studio live of Burden of Time that you see Miyako plays piano with right hand and guitar with left hand simultaneously. And yes, the structure and the progress of their pieces based on classic music. Have a good one.

Yes you're right, this song references the etude in several places. Also, it wasn't Mozart all up in this shit, it was Chopin. She based the song on Chopin's Revolutionary Etude (which was also the intro) and Dvorak's New World Symphony. Too bad about your Shadowmaker reaction. That's the first Lovebites song I ever heard and the one that sucked me in. They're awesome.

LOVEBITES - Swan Song lyrics: If this was the last day you could live on this earth World you still go on, accusing someone for today It’s better to fail than not do anything at all It is not the length, but depth of life that counts Oh brave soldier Oh gallant warrior Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla Believe what’s in your soul For death will come to all You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan If you’ve never hoped, you’ve never been though despair Ignorance is bliss, it’s easier to not care You might think it’s meaningless to sacrifice a life Sometimes the life of one can save so many more Oh brave soldier Oh gallant warrior Valor to those who died in battle to Valhalla Believe what’s in your soul For death will come to all You shall rest peacefully in God’s Heaven Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan Floating lotus You are so graceful Saintly and glorious Till the end of time Floating lotus You are so beautiful Sing me your sweet song The legend of the swan ----- lyrics: asami music: miyako arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)

I consider this the most beautiful and most difficult song by LOVEBITES to be played. The accuracy of arrangements is staggering. Haruna and Miho mainly, with their bass not even for 1 second, their fingers are on Fire 🤘🏼 The harmonization in the chorus makes it sound like a big Cello playing in the background, when Midori and Miyako's guitars come together in the same rhythm with Migo's bass. Review and repair. Swan Song is a Masterpiece. A masterpiece. Thanks for React. #LOVEBITES #LovebitesBand #alcateialovebitesbrasil #WolfPackBrasil #LovebitesBrasilFANgS 🇧🇷 🐺

This is better than Shadow Maker so you're forgiven. In the tapping part of the guitar solo was a portion of the Etude and it's Chopin not Motzart. LOL we get wat you meant though. I could see this as a ballet just from how Asami dances around and Miyako on the piano.

Great reaction, thank you! Concerning the Shadowmaker reaction, there are numerous 'versions' of that song, I don't know which you watched for that reaction. Each has it's own unique presentation as they are from very different events. MV/CD, Wacken-live, Daughters of the Dawn-live, Summer Sonic-live, Five of a Kind-live and Awake Again studio-live. Pick a different one and 'react' again? (I left out Bloodstock 2018 due to less-than-ideal audio, video and monitors for the band, but that is another performance in unusual last-minute change-of-stage difficult circumstance.)

The crazy thing about Miyako is she busts out a Chopin etude on the piano and within a few seconds goes over to multi-finger tapping on the guitar. In a live metal gig environment. Consistently. That’s not talent or anything like that. That’s decades of training and practice and deep understanding of her craft.
