One thing people don't realize is that we are technologically inferior in many ways. We have no comparable computer chip fabricators to TSMC (Taiwan semiconductor company). They make the best computer hardware available. All companies across the world use TSMC. It's a huge mistake that we don't have something comparable on home soil. It's horrendous, actually. We should be the leaders. We should have TSMC but better! But we have nothing. We have nothing comparable to TSMC. It's scary how much is resting on one company. Especially when it's not here in the US.

@@hobosnake1we also need to bring back medicine manufacturing. If China stopped, we would be screwed!

@@melindamorgan4879 that's far more important than what I was saying, lol. I definitely agree with that. I just speak about what I know, which is tech, but yeah you're absolutely right.

I would love to be Trump’s business manager and convince him to put 300% tariff on Chinese (enemy) goods. We can’t exploit these young workers to benefit our own. It is morally wrong. Don’t do business with your enemy. Period.

Gentlemen i was about your age when NAFTA was enacted. Ive watched jobs and factories disappear to other countries. Now with china its even worse. The only jobs left in a lot of towns are fast food jobs. Its no way to run a society. We need to build stuff. We need people to dream up products to enhance our living standards AND we need people to MAKE those products. We've allowed our middle class to be exported to foreign countries.

A country is basically a business. The president/royal family is the CEO of the company and government is the members of the board. States are stores and citizens are the workers and mayors and governors or states are the managers. Police are loss prevention. It makes sense that a successful businessman like Trump should be running the country to get it financially back on track and profitable. America without her soldiers would be like God without his angels. Soldiers are not just those fighting wars, it's citizens working and keeping America running with strong jobs and money to spend. We need a stable economy. Money is the life blood of the country.
