Honestly, no it wasn't. He had a clear opening to run to the right and instead he chose to stop and run backwards towards the endzone. It was a really bad decision that worked out mostly due to luck and partly due to his athleticism. The decision making was very poor. The clip immediately after was almost as bad. Wilson ignored a clear 1st down he could have had by running to the left sideline.

Tristan MacLeod, Hmm... Young and Rodgers both spent years backing up Hall of Famers and in some ways both surpassed their Hall of Fame predecessors (is Rogers even capable of throwing a pick?) But Tarkenton’s achievements came out of a completely different era and some of his records stood for so many decades. It’s hard to compare. I might give you Steve Young, he was an insane scrambler and a brilliant passer for sure... but Rogers? Yeah he’s got the arm, no doubt about that, but I just don’t see the mobility, not like Tarkenton.

Savage Brick Sports the play looks like the defender only got one hand on Rodgers back and then the offensive lineman pretty much pushed him off. Nobody else touched Rodgers. @Tristan MacLeod miles austin, Cole beasely, martellus bennet were not great receivers/tightend. Romo made them look great. What happened to austin when he left Dallas? He became a nobody. Beasley is a 3rd and short player and bennet didn't even really do anything in Dallas. And look at dez with dak. Romo made all of them good. T.O is an exception because he was great before Romo. And the offense was never a problem, Romo put up over 3500 yards every season and almost a 5000 yard season. And threw around 30 tds every year. Defense wins championships and that's something Romo never had. Rodgers had a good defense in his Superbowl. Rothlesberger had a good defense in his Superbowl. Brees had a good defense in his Superbowl and Brady always had an above average defense. Romo never had a good defense. Maybe the only good defensive players he's had were demarcus ware and Sean Lee.

@Tristan MacLeod the patriots put up 33 points on the eagles. The eagles defense was one of the best last season. The eagles scored only one more touchdown. Getting scored 41 points on you isn't bad in the superbowl because the teams want to score as much as possible and as quickly. The Seahawks out up like 43 points on the Broncos in the superbowl and the Broncos had one of the best defenses that year. So getting scored 41 on doesn't mean it's bad. It just means the offense was better.
