I had the same noise come from my Subaru Impreza’s cvt’s trans, it went away after a month, then six months later the trans went out, turns out the input shaft bearing are itself and sprinkled stardust through the trans. Literally the exact same thing! That was a 7k deal, but luckily I had extended warranty coverage...

Same here...especially with a car that's so expensive and rare, it's a no brainer that if you're wrong about the problem you could be causing more damage that'll be very expensive to fix. Basically sounds similar to the problem Hoovies garage had with the lambo where the gears had shredded themselves inside the transmission.

Just like my BMW "Stealership" wants $150.00 for an oil change (includes a free carwash). I just bought 6 qts. of Mobile 1 for $28.00 at a wholesale club, and $5 for a new filter at the local parts store. (that's right $33.00! - I saved $117.00) Yesterday, my friend let me use his Bendpak lift at his repair shop and I was done in ½ hour. I used my OBDII tool, reset the system, and even checked the tires, coolant, and power steering...
