My life changed the night I went into a casino in Seoul, South Korea. It was the first time I ever saw a toilet with a bidet, heated toilet seat, and air dryer. My fellow military men and I of course made fun of it. Then quickly headed back to the casino floor. However after losing a decent amount of money I had the casino bring me a nice traditional Korean dinner. Of course, my American gutter pallet stomach couldn’t take it and my only hope was the explosive discharge I was about to put into that toilet. I used it for all it was worth, the heat, the water pulsating, the air dry. My god, it’s all I think about it. Sent chills up my spine then, and still does. You never forget your first warm pulse of water up your anus, and it consumes you wanting more. I highly recommend a bidet.

Toto has other really neat features beside the bidet: 1.) Their own extremely smooth enamel finish. Nothing can adhere to it, so it virtually never needs cleaning. 2.)Cyclonic flush ports. For those without power outlets, I've been happy with a basic model that has a mechanical valve and no heaters. The water is warm enough because it's room temperature from sitting in the pipe. For drying, I just use a small amount of toilet paper, less than without a bidet. Also, it only cost $100 Canadian at Costco, which is around $67 US.
@QuickQuips4 жыл бұрын

The office building I worked at for a couple of years leased out the first floor to Toto (it was their south Florida HQ, I guess) and they outfitted the lobby bathrooms completely. We'd all go downstairs to use them rather than use our own private office bathrooms, they were that good. The weirdest part was the parties Toto would occasionally throw in the evening - they'd hire models, catering, musicians, etc., it was a typical, glamorous, PR event. For toilets. So...yeah, very Florida.

I like how in depth he went on into these devices lol. As a fair warning, these might not reduce your tp usage as much as he implies. Your mileage may vary. I've lived in Japan for a while and I actually brought 2 TOTO washlets back to the US. Most models except the top of the line one's like his, don't have a drying function. Even when they do they mostly don't work so well. I end up having to use tp to dry off after. Granted my nether regions get sparkly clean, it's worth it for me. BTW those worried about nasty back spray, TOTO washlets with UV and electrolyzed water keep the wand super clean. You will have to clean the toilet bowl and surrounding area more often due to back spray though.
