My life changed the night I went into a casino in Seoul, South Korea. It was the first time I ever saw a toilet with a bidet, heated toilet seat, and air dryer. My fellow military men and I of course made fun of it. Then quickly headed back to the casino floor. However after losing a decent amount of money I had the casino bring me a nice traditional Korean dinner. Of course, my American gutter pallet stomach couldn’t take it and my only hope was the explosive discharge I was about to put into that toilet. I used it for all it was worth, the heat, the water pulsating, the air dry. My god, it’s all I think about it. Sent chills up my spine then, and still does. You never forget your first warm pulse of water up your anus, and it consumes you wanting more. I highly recommend a bidet.

Toto has other really neat features beside the bidet: 1.) Their own extremely smooth enamel finish. Nothing can adhere to it, so it virtually never needs cleaning. 2.)Cyclonic flush ports. Maximum bowl evacuation using absolute minimum amount of water. 3.) Top of line model designed by reknowned artist. Look amazing. (something I've never said about any other toilet) Toto is a great company. Great video.

Never thought I'd let a computer wash my ass. I was wrong! I live in Japan for 2 years now and enjoy my automatic toilet a lot. The lid opens when I enter the bathroom, the seat raises with a press of a button. Do Your business on a warm seat get washed and dried, pull up Your pants and walk away. The thing flushes, cleans and closes itself. I don't touch a thing. Still wash my hands though out of habit.

@@deedieducati2272 it depends on the model of toilet you get. There’s an upgraded package to install an auto flush kit, retroactively. I don’t think this works if using the seat as an add-on to a non-Toto toilet.

For those without power outlets, I've been happy with a basic model that has a mechanical valve and no heaters. The water is warm enough because it's room temperature from sitting in the pipe. For drying, I just use a small amount of toilet paper, less than without a bidet. Also, it only cost $100 Canadian at Costco, which is around $67 US.

I do think the concept of cleaning your poopy butt with a DRY towel is insanity. Bidets really deserve more love, especially in the US. Bidets are like finding out you need eye glasses and trying them on for the first time. The only regret you'll have is not having purchased one earlier and also like some people are saying, you'll feel less clean when having to use a restroom without a bidet. If you're hesitant about getting a 1200 dollar model, go for a BioBidet of something from your local Costco. You can return it if you don't like. :X

The office building I worked at for a couple of years leased out the first floor to Toto (it was their south Florida HQ, I guess) and they outfitted the lobby bathrooms completely. We'd all go downstairs to use them rather than use our own private office bathrooms, they were that good. The weirdest part was the parties Toto would occasionally throw in the evening - they'd hire models, catering, musicians, etc., it was a typical, glamorous, PR event. For toilets. So...yeah, very Florida.

I actually have a 4Runner like the one at the beginning....same color too. Haha Anyway, I stayed at an Airbnb that had one of these toilets and we didn’t know how to use it. Wish we would’ve watched this then. With the TP shortages, we need to get one of these!

We moved into a new construction home a year ago and specifically negotiated having a GFI installed in the master bath so that we could get a Neorest installed. Once you use one of these it is transformative. Good vid brother

If the car review game ever fails, you'll be ONE HELL of a bidet salesman... I don't have this fancy pants model, but I'm going to get one. I have a cheap ass Amazon one upstairs and that one will blast away the Arby's mud no problem. I can't wait to see what this new one will do!

My first time using a bidet was like those videos of deaf babies getting a cochlear implant and smiling as they hear their mother's voice for the first time.

Took a week vacation in Japan and went to Tokyo, Kyoto, etc. It was great. All the hotels I went to had bidets. It took me a few days to get used to them but I quickly found myself using them all the time. Came back home and I just felt like a dirty peasant without one. Bought a cheapo $60 unit to attached to my already existing toilet and I feel clean again. It took me just a few days before I said "I can't live without one now" to get my own. It may not have heated seats nor a hot air blower but man do I feel so much better wiping a wet ass instead of a shitty ass.

I've been saying for years that America should have the level of tech in their toilets that the Japanese have. Why is this not common??

I like how in depth he went on into these devices lol. As a fair warning, these might not reduce your tp usage as much as he implies. Your mileage may vary. I've lived in Japan for a while and I actually brought 2 TOTO washlets back to the US. Most models except the top of the line one's like his, don't have a drying function. Even when they do they mostly don't work so well. I end up having to use tp to dry off after. Granted my nether regions get sparkly clean, it's worth it for me. BTW those worried about nasty back spray, TOTO washlets with UV and electrolyzed water keep the wand super clean. You will have to clean the toilet bowl and surrounding area more often due to back spray though.
