Is it truly the underpinning of the Dodge hornet and the Alfa Romeo Tonale. I think a little until otherwise is shown.

Funny propotions, long beaky front overhang, and giant wheel wells makes it look like the tires/rims are too small. I do think Nissan punched above their weight with the rogue/pathfinder redesigns, but maybe not so much here. The Nissan interiors have been really stepping up though I have to say.

I like it. I would rather have this than a Sequoia. I think they did a much better job with the interior.

Nissan can create some good cars when they actually care to. This or the QX80 would be on my list for a body on frame truck

does it have IFS? then it's *not* a Landcruiser. 76, 78, 79... these are the current generation Landcruisers worthy of the name. This is a Prado.

Doesn’t feel especially talk how great it is , then says it’s not special, having owned so many Porsches, McLarens , Lotus , to say the gear box has lack of mechanical feel is absolutely ridiculous, probably one of the best manual gearbox’s ever made 🤦♂️

This thing"s exterior styling still looks like a hippopotamus. Buyers looking for a "tj max" luxury suv, will not be put off by the odd styling.

Nissan dropped a ball not providing a body-on-frame midsize SUV - PF price and 4Runner capability….An Armada Sport - would sell better than PF and even Armada

IMHO, if Nissan would completely abandon the CVT and go to real automatic transmissions for all their vehicles (I'm including Mitsubishi) and keep a manual transmission option for their base models, like they do with the Versa, then Nissan and Mitsubishi would enjoy a renaissance in the US. For example, their Nissan Maxima could have been a GREAT true sports sedan had they made it with a real automatic and offered a manual transmission for driving enthusiasts. I read they are making it into an EV. Have they not heard the news? Most people, the vast majority of people, either do not want an EV or they live in an apartment complex where charging is problematic. I do hope we finally put an end to this climate change nonsense and start looking into how the sausage is made at the IPCC because it is ruining our vehicles and increasing the cost of living. And yes, I get that governments are imposing regulations, but the fact that every government is doing it shows how globalism is a problem.

Meanwhile we are waiting for a review the actually all new car platform that has double wishbone front suspension (Dodge Charger). Which is something that don’t happen every day, unlike this suv hodgepodge of new & old. It’s almost like the ghost of Carlos Ghosn paid off SG to do a review on this and make a little nice news for Nissan… Nissan. Which btw is apparently teetering towards bankruptcy again

Feels good to see a good review again. It comes to the wrong time or maybe good time? Now that the engineers can do their work properly again. Although the old generation was not bad and one of the few good Ghosn influences...
