Great video Savanna, fantastic visuals. So good to see Ravenscourt, Thamba and Tisela. They all look healthy and well and Thamba particularly well fed. Also think that the dogs had had their fill and the clean up crew took care of the rest. Great to see the lions, all of them. Plains Camp boys are looking good. Awesome to have this update Savanna, thank you so much. ❤

Yup, some are missing from this compilation of images. Should be 5 lionesses and 10 cubs in total. One of the 2 original Manghenis could be denning.

It seems that the spirit of Mrt and Pretty Boy has come to these two PCMs. These boys are crushing each and everything that comes in their way. As if whole western sector of the park was not enough for them, they are now claiming territories in northern sector ( elephant plains) and central sector ( londolozy). And this too when there are only two of them.

Well, they started out farther east and north after they came in from KNP in early 2021 or so. Londolozi, then a trip to visit the Nkuhumas, then settling in Singita. At that time, Mohawk and Blondie (NAvoca) could deal with them decisively--PCs were not exactly what they are now. They've been exploring/revisiting lately. Seem to have gone back west, may not try to "take over" anything east of Singita. They have enough! Going back through some months, they've chased the Orpen-Skorro male, who lives in Londolozi, and his girlfriend Ms. Tsalala too. I'll have to check that again. She probably remembers watching them murder her mother.

@@private4918I don't think they intend to expand to the north, it was said that they persecuted the kambula males who were in singita because of the large herd of buffalo there, with the kambula wanting to settle in the north and entering singita the pcm quickly north to give a warning that there in singita and the whole west they are theirs, making it a border between the territories, but now in londodozi I think they will try to control a part of there for themselves so they can attract females like tsalala, or even other females looking for of strong males for mating

@@IsaacTeodoro-gp3xs Yes, lions often follow buffalo herds away from their usual "territory," and "territory" often spans more than one game reserve, as you know. I saw something recently about Elephant Plains, the Kambula males and sister were there. EP is sort of north of Singita, I'll have to check a map again. So, this all adds up. I agree that the PCs are more likely to go east for "expansion" than north or NORTHEAST. The PCs and Kambulas just ran into each other somehow. Maybe the PCs were after the same buffalo herd. Londolozi is fairly open in the western areas--eastern half and western Mala Mala are Ndzenga and Kambula pride territory. In western Londolozi, there really is no dominant coalition/pair that stays there permanently--just Orpen-Skorro and Ms. Tsalala. So, the PCs could have it, probably, if they wanted it. But not many lionesses to choose from who are there permanently.

@@private4918ss to the east, surely in some way they will try to expand I think it may take longer because in the west there are two Ottawa females, in Londodozi there is not a large permanent flock there so it may take a while or never to happen this expansion definitely but it has already happened sighted them there chasing the female tsalala and skorro-orpen in that part of the sand river where they try to establish a territory
