Be careful how you phrase “I wanted to do this but now I have the kids.” They may hear this and it puts undue pressure on them and they can feel bad and like a burden. Just be mindful of the impact it can put on their confidence and their overall wellbeing. ❤

Savannah I understand not wanting to fail being the best caregiver you can be , and wreather you move on in a relationship or not is your choice. I do want to share my experience in being a single mother. It's hard real hard doing it by yourself not saying it can't be done because I've done it from 2011 and still am doing it , however I do want someone a partner ( the right partner ) to accept and to want to help with the responsibilities of being there. I do believe having someone to share the responsibilities not only gives u a much deserved break but it also gives the kids someone else to lean on as well. I know there is things that my kids wants or maybe even feel as if they need but won't ask because they know I have to split between five kids and they think I am to tired at times to just hear them out. I can only wish to have a relationship such as yours and the guy you was speaking about. Either way you are rocking the care giver roll. Love bunches the whole Chrisley family

You're using chloe as a reason to not move on with your life.

What we can do as human beings is imagine how we would handle things if we were going through what you are and how we would want to be treated by other if it were us. Savannah dear. I think you are being way too hard n yourself than you have to. Maybe you should just let the other person make that decision if they feel your situation is too much for them or not good for them. They may truly fall in love with you and be totally fine helping you out with the kids and ok with you having to stay back at times. This could be a very good love story that you might use an excuse to not let it move forward. Just let God handle it. If it’s too much for you than that is your choice weather or not to continue but don’t ever make the excuse for the other person. You should invite Shania Twain to be on your podcast. She experienced childhood trauma, took on the responsibility of raising her 3 younger siblings after their parents were killed in a car accident. She was just 22 years old. She was struggling just to financially support herself to survive while trying to get her career started but stepped up and took in 3 kids. She could probably offer you a lot of advice.
